Senior Manager, Product Planning – Hotel Content

• Provide integration and management of Hotel APIs to ensure that the content is correctly structured, normalized, and distributed, including the API modernization projects • Identify and implement new features or enhanced capabilities based on customer feedback, market demand, and business priorities • Analyze existing hotel workflows, systems, and processes to identify areas for increased efficiency and optimization • Make sure your assigned products have sound business plans, including an analysis of product profitability, sales success, and pricing strategy • Develop and present a comprehensive business case for a proposed product investment, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, and strategic alignment • Building relationships with our vendors and suppliers; listen to their thoughts and concerns and foster ways to work together
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of the hotel industry, including key players, market trends, and consumer behavior
- Strong understanding of APIs and hotel booking systems, especially Sabre and Amadeus GDS, and how they integrate with booking platforms
- Experience in business travel and/or travel management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency with Microsoft Office Products and collaborative software used for projects with remote team members and stakeholders
- Data analytical skills

Role Description A Content Loading Coordinator for Symphonic Distribution is a liaison between clients and our organization. The role consists of loading, reviewing, and approving content submitted by clients, assisting clients with content-specific issues/errors, technical support, and other queries specifically about their content. - Work with the existing internal team on catalog uploads. - Load content submitted by clients for distribution to digital service providers around the world. Content may consist of back catalog, new releases, ringtones, or other projects and may apply to new clients, legacy clients, and/or through content gathering initiatives. - Educate clients on how to use our content management system when issues and/or errors arise. - Ensure full understanding of the Symphonic style guide, as well as partner guides like iTunes / Apple Music and Spotify, are reviewed for Content Best Practices. - Resolve content-specific issues via Help Desk and/or email and occasionally assist in meetings with clients. - Perform manual checking and submission of album covers, proper genres, etc. - Suggest solutions directly to a client if a product malfunctions, working with the Client Relations team members. - Assist with queues within the Help Desk as needed. - Recommend new article topics to the Client Relations team. - Report any findings from Digital Service Providers to the Manager, Content Onboarding. - Develop innovative approaches and ideas and present them in a manner that gets the attention of others. - Assist with Content Approvals as needed. Qualifications - 3 years of experience in a customer service capacity. - High School Diploma or GED. - Working knowledge and experience with FTP programs, audio editing software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - High energy, confidence, and willingness to send out many emails daily as well as join meetings, conference calls, and even phone calls as needed. - Organization and deadline-driven. - Bilingual in English and Spanish in both verbal and written communication. - Previous customer service experience. - Quick understanding and eagerness to learn.
