• Act as the technical reference for development within squads, delivering high-quality, complex solutions and leading initiatives for technical improvement, innovation and AI adoption across the vertical’s products. • Architecture & Technical Evolution • Design and evolve the architecture of services (back-end, front-end and data), ensuring scalability, resilience and alignment with business needs. • Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, define integration scenarios and make informed stack decisions. • Lead design reviews, establish coding standards and support the definition of architectural guidelines together with coordination. • Continuously map and reduce technical debt, promoting sustainable architectural evolution. • DevOps, Infrastructure & Reliability • Plan and structure DevOps/CI/CD pipelines, standardize environments using IaC, containers and orchestration. • Ensure observability, monitoring and the adoption of SRE practices to guarantee high availability of the products. • Support the analysis and resolution of critical production incidents, acting quickly with a focus on root cause. • Development & Quality • Develop high-complexity features for SIDER products, maintaining high standards of quality and performance. • Conduct code reviews, promoting adherence to best practices and technical consistency across teams. • Design APIs and system integrations, including event-driven architectures and messaging (RabbitMQ). • Participate in technical refinements and estimates for complex initiatives, contributing technical vision and feasibility. • People, Knowledge & Innovation • Mentor mid-level and senior developers, supporting technical growth and team autonomy. • Share knowledge through structured documentation and tech talks, strengthening the engineering culture. • Contribute to AI and automation initiatives, encouraging responsible and productive use of these technologies in the development cycle. • Act as a technical facilitator between squads and partner areas, promoting alignment and collaboration to solve complex challenges.
Job Requirements
- Experience with AI applied to development/ops.
- Experience with Java (including Java EE) and software development to provide technical guidance to teams.
- Experience in systems architecture, microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and hexagonal architecture.
- Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD, containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes) and observability practices.
- Familiarity with C4 diagrams and architectural documentation.
- Strong understanding of coding standards, software quality, testing and security.
- Primary focus on back-end development, with knowledge of front-end (React) to guide best practices.
- Ability to support and guide developers, ensuring architectural consistency.
- Experience with document-oriented NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB) is a plus.
- Preferred / Additional qualifications:
- Additional experience with messaging (Kafka) and with JBoss, JSP and Struts.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
