Pricing Analyst

Heritage Landscape Supply Group, Inc.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to conduct comprehensive sales and item analysis, driving price and margin optimization while ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in pricing strategies. • Maintain and update the ERP database to support efficient pricing and costing functions, leveraging office automation skills to enhance data integrity and streamline processes. • Collaborate closely with regional and branch managers to address and resolve pricing challenges, fostering strong relationships and facilitating informed decision-making for optimal pricing solutions. • Communicate effectively with all levels of management to implement daily pricing changes, including conducting quarterly reviews and implementing price adjustments throughout the year, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. • Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and Sales Managers to gather and analyze business intelligence, enabling data-driven regional price recommendations for both commodities and large-ticket items to enhance market responsiveness and competitive edge. • Champion the development and streamlining of daily processes through innovative automation solutions, sharing best practices and efficiencies with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in pricing analytics, office automation, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting sales and item analysis for price and margin optimization.
  • Proficient in Excel with advanced capabilities, including: VLOOKUPs and other lookup functions, Multi-sheet management, Expertise in creating and utilizing Pivot Tables, Ability to develop and implement macros.
  • Experience with ERP systems and database management.
  • Strong office automation skills with the capability to streamline processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage regional pricing differences.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work with regional vice presidents and sales managers for business intelligence gathering.
  • Proven track record of clear and effective communication with all levels of management.
  • Capability to think outside of the box to develop and share innovative solutions.
  • Proactive approach to continuous learning and mastery of new skills.
  • Availability, responsiveness, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
