• Reconcile and analyze the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring consistency between source systems (sales/billing) and the accounting records, which directly supports the reliability of the company’s financial information. • Calculate, reconcile and analyze other balance sheet and income statement (P&L) accounts, working in partnership with Finance, Controllership and other relevant teams. • Support monthly accounting close processes, focusing on continuous improvement of controls and reduction of discrepancies.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: prior experience in accounting routines, particularly in account reconciliations (preferably accounts receivable) and support for monthly close.
  • Technical qualifications: knowledge of general accounting, chart of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations and preparation/analysis of the balance sheet and income statement (P&L).
  • Proficiency with Excel/spreadsheets.
  • Experience with accounting ERPs (e.g., SAP).
  • Personal attributes: organized, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, ability to work independently and strong communication skills to interact with different teams.
  • Nice to have: experience reconciling receivables (credit card, boleto) and revenue recognition knowledge.
  • Education: degree in Accounting (in progress or completed) and/or registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC).

In this hybrid role based at our Chicago Headquarters, you will serve as a contributor within the second line of defense, perform independent model validations and support oversight of the Model Risk Management (MRM) program. Validate a broad range of models used across credit risk, treasury management (ALM), finance, underwriting, and related areas, includes both traditional statistical models and artificial intelligence (AI) models. Partner with model owners, users, and MRM leadership to assess model soundness, identify model risk, and support compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidance.
