Job Description

Senior NDT Level III Inspector – Engineer

Aviation Technology Associates, LLC

• Serve as the final technical sign-off for newly developed or digitized NDI procedures across multiple methods • Author and approve formal technical substantiation documents • Collaborate directly with Technical Writers and engineers • Travel to military installations, maintenance depots, and operational bases • Gather customer and end-user feedback during physical verifications • Handle all project data, engineering drawings, and technical specifications • Maintain current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or technical curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years prior aerospace experience (Commercial, DOD Department of Defense) in NDT and quality systems
  • Active ASNT or NAS-410 Level III Certification required in all five principal aircraft NDT methods
  • Capable of operating data analysis and computer software for NDT testing
  • Ability to pass a Tier 1 (minimum) Investigation for work on Department of Defense contracts
  • Existing security clearance is preferred.
