Title: Staff Product Manager- Developer Experience Location: Oakland United States Job Description: From Fivetran's founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We're proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven. About Us Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data - from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It's an exciting time to join us: we're creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites. The way data practitioners write, debug, and ship dbt code is changing fast - and you''ll be the person shaping what that experience looks like at the frontier of AI-assisted development. As the Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will own the end-to-end developer workflow in dbt Cloud: the Studio IDE, Developer Agent (our AI coding assistant), the Cloud CLI, and the dbt VS Code Extension. Together, these surfaces are the primary daily touchpoint for tens of thousands of data practitioners worldwide - from seasoned analytics engineers writing complex SQL to newer practitioners who rely on AI to help them move faster and with more confidence. This role sits at the intersection of developer tooling and leading-edge AI. You will work in close partnership with the Fusion team - the engine powering dbt''s next-generation compilation, intelligence, and platform capabilities - to ensure that our developer surfaces fully leverage Fusion''s capabilities and that developer needs are represented in the Fusion roadmap. The tight feedback loop between Developer Experience and Fusion is core to how dbt Cloud will evolve, and you''ll be a key architect of that relationship. This is a role for someone who has thought deeply about what makes IDEs and developer tools great, and who is excited to reimagine those workflows in an era where AI can lower the floor for new practitioners while raising the ceiling for experts. This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. In This Role, You Will - Own the developer experience roadmap across Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and the VS Code Extension - from near-term iteration to long-term vision. - Partner deeply with the Fusion team to align on capabilities, surface Fusion-powered intelligence (SQL comprehension, compute, context) through developer-facing UX, and co-define the boundary between platform and product. - Lead AI-native product development for Developer Agent - defining what a best-in-class AI coding assistant looks like for the full spectrum of dbt users, from expert analytics engineers to practitioners who are newer to code. This includes agentic workflows, context-aware suggestions, natural language interactions, and guided development experiences that meet users where they are. - Drive IDE and tooling strategy informed by a deep understanding of modern development environments - think about what VS Code, Cursor, and other leading IDEs get right, and translate those instincts to the dbt Cloud context. - Define and execute cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and GTM teams to ship high-quality developer experiences on a predictable cadence. - Build tight feedback loops with the dbt community and enterprise customers to continuously improve developer tools, with particular attention to power users and technical practitioners. - Conduct market and user research to understand the competitive landscape for developer tooling and AI-assisted development, and bring sharp external perspective into the roadmap. - Align developer experience investments to broader company goals, product-led growth metrics, and the Fusion platform strategy. What Success Looks Like - Developer satisfaction and engagement metrics (activation, session depth, feature adoption) trending up across Studio, Canvas, CLI, and Developer Agent. - Developer Agent is a differentiated, well-regarded AI coding experience for data practitioners - not just a feature, but a product. - The Studio IDE and Canvas deliver a cohesive, fast, and intelligent development workflow powered by Fusion capabilities. - Strong, trust-based execution partnership with the Fusion team: shared roadmap visibility, clear API contracts, and coordinated shipping. - The Cloud CLI is a first-class product that developers actively choose, not a fallback. You''re a Good Fit If You Have - 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on developer tools, IDEs, or technical platforms. - Direct experience managing IDE or developer environment products - you have an informed point of view on what makes development tools excellent and where modern IDEs fall short. - Demonstrated engagement with AI-powered development tools - you''ve used, studied, and formed strong opinions about AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Devin, etc.) and how they change the development experience. - A strong technical foundation that allows you to work fluently with engineering partners, reason about system architecture, and contribute meaningfully to technical decisions. - Experience conducting user research and translating developer feedback into prioritized, scoped product work. - Excellent written and verbal communication - you can write a crisp spec, give a compelling demo, and synthesize complex tradeoffs for diverse audiences. - Comfort working asynchronously as part of a distributed, remote team. You''ll Have an Edge If You Have - Hands-on experience with dbt or similar SQL-first transformation frameworks. - Prior experience building or shipping AI agent features (agentic UX, multi-step LLM workflows, context management). - Familiarity with LSP (Language Server Protocol), tree-sitter, or other IDE infrastructure primitives. - Experience with CLI tooling and developer workflow automation. - Background in open source software development or strong engagement with developer communities. - Knowledge of modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, etc.) and the analytics engineering ecosystem. Product Manager2 days ago

Title: Senior Product Manager, Catalog Location: New York United States Job Description: SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we&rsquo;re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry. By catering to both fans and rightsholders, we're powering a new, open entertainment ecosystem where fans have effortless access to experiences, and teams, venues, and shows have seamless access to their audiences. Because everyone should expect more from ticketing. We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to own SeatGeek's Catalog &mdash; the foundational data layer that defines what exists on our platform. Every event a fan can shop, every seat they can buy, every venue map they navigate, and every attribute that makes a ticket more than a dot on a map starts here. Catalog is the ground truth that everything else &mdash; shopping, fulfillment, and eventually attending the event &mdash; is built on top of. This is a high-leverage, deeply cross-functional role. When the catalog is accurate, complete, and fresh, fans trust what they see and every downstream experience just works. When it isn't, the cracks show up everywhere. Your mission is to make SeatGeek's understanding of the live event world the most accurate, comprehensive, and richly detailed in the industry &mdash; from getting brand-new onsales live the moment they're announced, to modeling complex venues seat-by-seat, to capturing the features and attributes that help fans find exactly the right spot. SeatGeek is where passionate fans and ambitious builders come together to reshape live entertainment, and if you're excited to build the data foundation that powers it all, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll do - Own the vision and strategy for SeatGeek's Catalog and define how we build the most accurate, complete, and fresh representation of the live event world in the industry - Raise the bar on catalog coverage and freshness: get new events and onsales live faster, close inventory and matching gaps, and reduce the errors and staleness that erode fan trust and downstream conversion - Blend user, data, and domain knowledge to identify where better catalog data can redefine the fan experience (think seat features, views, maps, and enriched event content) and where it unblocks partner and operations workflows - Partner closely with operations and marketplace teams to design tooling and processes that let SeatGeek ingest and maintain catalog data at scale - Partner with analytics to define the metrics that matter for catalog health &mdash; coverage, freshness, accuracy, match rate &mdash; and build the dashboards and monitoring to hold the platform accountable to them - Advocate for and act as an ambassador to the rest of the company for Catalog, evangelizing work and celebrating wins; collaborate with PMs across the entire shopping funnel and post-purchase experience on dependencies and shared opportunities - Stay ahead of where AI, machine learning, and emerging technology can automate ingestion, improve matching, and enrich our representation of the live event experience - Provide mentorship to junior product team members and contribute to enhancing our product team culture and best practices What you have - 8+ years of relevant product management experience with a strong track record shipping impactful products at scale, ideally in marketplace, platform, or data-intensive contexts - Experience owning foundational data, catalog, or platform products where accuracy, completeness, and freshness are core to the value you deliver &mdash; and where downstream teams depend on what you build - Comfort operating in complex, ambiguous problem spaces: you can take a messy real-world domain and design systems and processes that make it structured, scalable, and trustworthy - A strong fluency with data: you're equally at home defining quality metrics, diving into analytics, and partnering with analysts to get the insights you need to make decisions from evidence rather than assumption - Experience partnering with operations teams and designing internal tooling or workflows &mdash; you understand that great catalog data is as much about process and people as it is about product - Strong customer empathy and a tasteful product eye, even when the "customer" is often an internal operator or a downstream team - Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with proficiency in modern prototyping tools like Claude, Figma Make, Loveable, or similar to communicate ideas effectively to cross-functional partners - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and clarity - A demonstrated curiosity in new technologies and how they can solve user problems in new ways - Ideally, experience with products that leverage machine learning or AI to automate data ingestion, entity matching, or content enrichment at scale - Ideally, experience with marketplace or ticketing products, or other domains where a high-quality catalog or knowledge graph is a core competitive advantage - This role requires candidates to be based on the East Coast, with preference given to those in the New York City area Our stack You absolutely do not need experience with all of these, but we thought you might be curious. Tools can be learned, so we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language. - Languages: Python, Go, C#+.NET Core, Swift, Next.js, TypeScript - Client Platforms: iOS, Android, Web (Desktop/Mobile) - Technologies: OAuth2.0 & Identity Management, Payment Tokenization - Event-driven Technologies: RabbitMQ, Kafka - Datastores: Postgres, Redis, Memcache, Elasticsearch - Cloud: AWS</li> - Version control: Git (Gitlab) Perks - Equity stake - Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you&rsquo;d like or 100% remotely - A WFH stipend to support your home office setup - Unlimited PTO - Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave - 401(k) matching - Student loan matching program - Health, vision, dental, and life insurance - Up to $25k towards family building, reproductive health services and Gender-affirming care - $500 per year for wellness expenses - Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical - $360 per quarter to spend on tickets to live events - Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $188,000 USD. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location. SeatGeek is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment regardless of race, color, religion, creed, age, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, military or veteran status, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
