Role Description Labcorp is seeking a remote Senior Proposal Associate to join our team in Bulgaria. Work Schedule: 09:00 - 18:00 - 40 hours based on a five-day working week, Monday to Friday. Job Responsibilities: - Supports or manages all aspects of the appropriate proposal/budget process for all levels of complexity. - Analyzes RFI and/or Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to assist in identifying missing information. - Shadow or manage strategic and operational calls related to the opportunity. - Administratively supports facilitating internal and external opportunity management negotiations. - Support client-facing and senior management-facing activities surrounding assigned opportunities. - Escalates issues/challenges to Manager for advice on resolution. - Performs timely and accurate data entry into departmental and/or corporate databases/systems. - Contributes to assigned client relationship improvement activities and process improvement initiatives. - Perform quality control activities per the appropriate process/requirements. - Expected to contribute to content library by submitting added content or updates. - Develops appropriate knowledge of the technical and regulatory environments. - Completes other appropriate duties, as assigned by the manager. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Economics, Clinical research, Pharmacy, Biology or Chemistry. - 3 or more years of experience in clinical studies or central laboratory services environment. Requirements - 3 or more years’ experience in a health science or clinical research or pharmaceutical field. - Good understanding of logistic processes of sample shipping and processes of clinical trials. - Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact. - Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and Labcorp senior management. - Knowledge of proposal management software applications (e.g., Salesforce.com, Proposal Automation applications). - Demonstrated text editing and writing skills. - Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task, and prioritize. - Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills. - Proven ability to work independently. - Ability to work to deadlines. - Strong analytical skills. - Positive attitude and sense of urgency. - Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed. Role Description We are seeking an experienced Director of Proposal Management to lead and execute strategic proposal efforts that drive company growth. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for managing complex pursuits from pre-RFP planning through proposal submission while partnering closely with business development, capture, solutions, and executive leadership teams. The ideal candidate brings a demonstrated and quantifiable history of proposal wins within high-growth Government Contracting (GovCon) environments and has successfully led proposal efforts across a broad spectrum of opportunities, including services, products, and technology solutions. This individual will serve as a hands-on proposal leader, driving proposal strategy, compliance, messaging, and execution while helping mature and scale proposal operations to support continued growth. Key Responsibilities - Lead the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity qualification through submission for strategic federal pursuits. - Develop proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, storyboards, and production plans. - Serve as the primary proposal manager for high-priority and high-value opportunities. - Partner with key stakeholders to develop winning proposal strategies and compelling win themes. - Drive proposal reviews, incorporating executive, technical, and customer-focused feedback. - Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements while maximizing responsiveness and competitiveness. - Manage multiple concurrent proposals across varying agencies, contract vehicles, and procurement types. - Develop and refine proposal processes, templates, tools, and best practices to support organizational growth and increased win rates. - Contribute to bid/no-bid decisions and opportunity assessments. - Track proposal metrics, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Coordinate external proposal consultants, writers, graphic designers, and reviewers as needed. • Assist verticals by identifying RFPs/RFIs using corporate tools (GovWin, GovSpend) • Coordinate with EVP, Sales Manager, Account Executive (AE), Finance, Development, and Legal to determine if opportunities are a strategic fit. • All RFPs/RFIs over $100K require a review meeting with Sales Manager, AE, Proposal Manager, EVP, Paul Christians, Lisa Coram, and Alysha Marx. • Once determined to move forward with RFP/RFI - Set up and manage tools (Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, Loopio, Copilot, etc.) in alignment with the RFP Detailed Process to track and execute responses • Balance workload based on deadlines and priorities as directed by the Sales Manager and/or EVP • Proactively identify and manage risks (contractual, pricing, scope) and escalate as needed • Communicate regularly with Sales Managers and EVPs regarding due date changes, priorities, status, and strategy • Facilitate client communication following the rules set forth within the bid, such as submitting questions within the allotted timeframe. • Monitor and communicate any amendments, deadline changes, or requirement updates • Assign sections to SMEs and provide clear guidance on expectations • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to gather required inputs • Escalate delays or risks impacting deadlines to Lisa Coram and Alysha Marx • Develop, draft, and edit proposal content, including cover letters and response narratives • Tailor responses to align with client requirements, vertical strategy, and win themes (leveraging prior “won” proposals). • Participate in debriefings/lessons-learned sessions after delivery of a proposal to contribute ideas and recommendations towards proposal process improvements. • Maintain overall proposal quality by ensuring: • All questions are fully answered • Requirements are met • Submissions are accurate, consistent, and professional • Maintain, update, and leverage proposal content libraries and tools (Loopio, Salesforce, SharePoint, Copilot) • Set and manage follow-up reminders with AEs, Sales Managers, and EVPs after proposal submission • If approved or requested by the vertical EVP and/or CRO – submit and track the FOIA process on any submitted RFI/RFP’s
