Sales & Marketing Director
SWARCO
• Leading the sales & marketing strategy and commercial growth of the EV charging business • Delivering revenue, profitability, and market share objectives • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across public and private sectors • Developing strategic partnerships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners • Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing sales and marketing teams • Driving customer engagement and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction • Collaborating with operational and project delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes • Supporting the strategic growth and long-term vision of the business • Promoting a positive, high-performance sales and marketing culture across the organisation • Develop and deliver sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion • Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and performance against commercial targets • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders • Identify market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities within the EV sector • Collaborate with operational teams to maximise commercial opportunities and customer value • Report on sales and marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership • Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing sales and marketing team • Represent the business at industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role with responsibility for driving significant revenue growth
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L accountability
- Demonstrable success in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value commercial contracts
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive level
- Ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Strong analytical and strategic decision-making capabilities
- Full UK driving licence |
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline (Desirable)
- Experience within the EV charging, renewable energy, smart infrastructure, or transportation sectors (Desirable)
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement and framework agreements (Desirable)
- Experience selling infrastructure, technology, or energy solutions (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms (Desirable)
- Established network within the EV, fleet, local authority, or transport sectors (Desirable)
- Experience working within a fast-growth or scale-up environment (Desirable)
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and talent development capability (Desirable)
