Backend Software Engineer – Finance Super App

• Build backend services, APIs and workflows for the finance super app. • Support products across insurance, payments, wallet, savings, investing, travel and financial services. • Design reliable systems for user accounts, transactions, partner integrations, reconciliation, notifications and operations. • Work with product and mobile teams to ship customer-facing journeys quickly. • Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurers, data providers and other partners. • Improve system reliability, observability, security and performance. • Build systems that are practical, auditable and ready for regulated financial products.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, system design and production debugging.
- Experience building scalable services and integrating third-party systems.
- Good understanding of security, reliability, data quality and operational edge cases.
- Able to make practical trade-offs between speed, quality and risk.
- Comfortable working with product, mobile, operations and business teams.
- Experience in fintech, payments, insurance, lending, banking or regulated products is a strong advantage.
