Role Description GFT is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to our office in Berkeley, CA. This role follows a remote work model. Working on the Transportation team at GFT offers the opportunity to engage in transformative projects that enhance transportation infrastructure and improve community connectivity. The role highlights a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional quality and results on every project. - Perform project management for a combination of Federally funded projects supporting transportation systems. - Manage the project across the project life cycle from initiation to closure. - Develop programs, projects, and apply strategic problem-solving skills ensuring timely solutions to complex construction management program issues. - Apply knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities ensuring project requirements are met. - Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents. - Establish all necessary liaisons, coordination, and support with any project-related agencies and representatives of federal, state, regional, and local governments as appropriate for each task order. - Prepare and monitor Project Work Plan, Quality Plan, and Schedules and coordinate project resource efforts to reach objectives. - Prepare technical analysis reports. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in Engineering, Environmental, Transportation, Urban, or Regional Planning, or a related field. - 20 years of project management experience in the transportation industry. - Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is required. - Strong knowledge of and experience in the principles and activities related to the development and support of transportation systems. Requirements - This is an hourly position. The range for this position is $55 to $65 per hour. Compensation is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
