Role Description Our Sales team is growing at The RealReal, and we’re seeking self-motivated individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team! The Business Development Representative (BDR) works to qualify leads and pass to the appropriate sales channel to close into new consignors. If you’re customer-obsessed and driven to excel in a fully-remote, competitive sales environment, this could be the perfect fit! - Act as first point of contact for prospective clients (leads) interested in consigning at The RealReal - Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries - Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business - Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email - Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps Qualifications - High degree of professionalism and excellent phone demeanor - Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills; ability to tailor communication style to suit all audiences - Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM - Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment - A solutions-focused mentality with a growth mindset - Adaptability and openness to change - Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week) - Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday Requirements - Familiarity with the luxury fashion marketplace - Lead qualification experience Benefits - Hourly base pay + uncapped commission - $800/month commission (at target) - Monthly sales competitions (i.e. cash | prizes | site credit) - Employee Stock Purchase Plan - 401K with Company Match - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - Paid Parental Leave - 9 Paid Company Holidays - 18 Paid Time Off (PTO) Days (PTO starts accruing on first day of work)

Role Description We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager – Water Treatment Chemicals to lead the growth of our speciality chemicals business across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Reporting directly to the Executive Committee, this strategic role offers the opportunity to work with a leading international technology partner, develop key client relationships, and drive commercial growth across multiple industries. - Develop and execute business growth strategies for water and wastewater treatment chemicals. - Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with municipalities, industrial clients, mining companies, consulting engineers, EPC contractors, water utilities, and other key stakeholders. - Manage the full business development process from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure. - Develop strategic account plans and long-term customer relationships. - Collaborate with technical teams, Applications Specialists, and international partners to deliver customer-focused solutions. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging treatment technologies. - Represent Sizwe Amanzi at industry conferences, technical forums, and stakeholder engagements. - Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence, and business development reports for executive leadership and international partners. - Visit existing and prospective clients throughout the assigned regions. - Conduct on-site sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions. - Maintain regular face-to-face client engagement and relationship management.
