Role Description Boston Scientific is seeking a highly advanced Business Systems Analyst to serve as a system owner, automation architect, and operational intelligence partner for enterprise platforms supporting clinical, regulatory, and data-driven environments. These systems are not off-the-shelf tools; they are purpose-built solutions designed to integrate complex clinical, operational, and analytical data into cohesive workflows that support study execution, resource planning, compliance, and decision-making. This role ensures that system logic, configurations, and workflows remain aligned with evolving clinical strategies, regulatory expectations, and operational needs. The Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining, enhancing, and protecting the integrity of these systems, ensuring they deliver accurate, traceable, and trusted outputs. This role will also leverage automation and AI-driven capabilities to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and enable scalable support for increasingly complex clinical and data environments. - Maintain deep expertise in system logic, calculations, data flows, and integrations across clinical and enterprise platforms - Translate clinical and operational processes into clear functional specifications and system enhancements - Synthesize inputs from multiple sources (e.g., study workflows, requirements, change requests) into structured and scalable system logic - Ensure the integrity and reliability of system outputs by validating calculations, configurations, and data, with attention to traceability and compliance expectations - Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual effort in areas such as requirements management, validation support, and data processing - Leverage AI tools to analyze, synthesize, and maintain system requirements, documentation, and process outputs, particularly in regulated or high-complexity environments - Continuously identify opportunities to enhance clinical and operational processes through automation and AI-enabled capabilities - Own and evolve system requirements, ensuring alignment between clinical workflows, system behavior, and expected outputs - Design, execute, and oversee system testing (functional, regression, and UAT) to ensure accuracy, stability, and validation readiness - Assess downstream impacts of system and process changes and coordinate mitigation strategies with technical, data, and operational teams - Act as a critical thought partner, challenging assumptions and ensuring solutions are grounded in sound clinical, operational, and data logic - Partner with engineering, data, and business teams to support platform scalability, performance, and modernization - Support end users through troubleshooting, workflow guidance, and development of documentation aligned to regulated and audit-ready standards Qualifications - A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related roles within clinical, life sciences, or regulated environments - Demonstrated experience owning or supporting enterprise or clinical systems and associated workflows - Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements management, and functional solution design - Experience working with complex data structures, system integrations, and data validation practices - Proven experience supporting system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing in structured or regulated environments - Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, automation solutions, or AI-enabled workflows - Ability to work effectively across business, clinical, and technical teams in a cross-functional environment - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data integrity Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting clinical operations, study execution, or related regulated processes - Experience applying automation or AI tools within clinical, regulatory, or enterprise data environments - Familiarity with validation frameworks, audit expectations, and traceability practices - Ability to operate independently and drive ambiguous, complex problem spaces to structured outcomes - Experience partnering closely with software engineering, data engineering, or analytics teams - Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments - Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate alignment across clinical, operational, and technical domains Requirements - Requisition ID: 631433 - Minimum Salary: $71500 - Maximum Salary: $135800 Benefits The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
