General Clerk II
Coast Professional, Inc.
• Provides knowledgeable written responses to Federal Student Loan inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. • Assists with answering inbound calls regarding FSA Loan Servicing during high call volume. • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. • Provides administrative support to project and operations management. • Performs repetitive clerical steps and clerical duties requiring general knowledge. • Inputs customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information. • Reviews data for deficiencies and errors, corrects any incompatibility, and checks output for accuracy. • Outreach to various sources via oral and written communication to make appropriate determinations. • Completes and passes call center customer service training.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least one (1) year of customer service, administrative or call center experience required.
- Must reside in the U.S.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.
- Ability to write using proper grammar and punctuation.
- Ability to type a minimum of 23 WPM required.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks.
- Must have the ability to navigate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

• Propounding and responding to written discovery. • Drafting meet and confer letters, notice of deposition, and various documents related to litigation discovery. • Provide support to attorneys, including contacting clients, calendaring events, reviewing materials, and drafting correspondence.
