• Performing up-tower repairs and diagnostics on medium & major components including Generator Bearings, Generator Slip Rings, Rotor & Stator Cables, Gearbox HSS replacement, HSS bearings, IMS replacement, IMS bearings, Yaw Drive Repair/Exchange, Generator Exchanges & Trunnion Pin Repairs. • Carry out daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor assembly, minor service & troubleshooting. • Climbing vertically at least 300ft. • Maintain certifications in all areas required by the position. • Conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems. • Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment. • Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers. • May be required to perform LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) of equipment as an Authorized Person. • At times, may be required to support lifting operations following skills verification of Large Components.

Qualifications - Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician who can work independently at the scene. - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment. - Confident, calm customer communication. - Comfortable using IT, mobile apps and diagnostic software. - Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a fully equipped van. - Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., manufacturer apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Parts I & II, NVQ/B-Tech diploma). - Flexibility to work the rotating shift pattern between 7am and 10pm, including some weekends and Bank Holidays.
