• Scale the Accounting Function: Own the month-end close, financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls while building scalable processes that support growth from $1bn in revenue. • Lead Subscription Revenue Accounting: Oversee accounting for a consumer subscription business, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, compliance with ASC 606, and partnership with cross-functional teams on new products and offerings. • Drive Systems, Automation & AI: Lead accounting systems implementations and process transformation initiatives, leveraging automation and AI to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. • Own Audit & Compliance: Lead the company’s external audit process, strengthen controls and documentation, and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. • Develop & Lead the Team: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing accounting organization, including offshore resources, while establishing clear accountability and operating rhythms. • Partner with Leadership: Collaborate with Finance and executive teams on strategic initiatives, business planning, fundraising, and operational decision-making.

• Own the full P&L for Dutch’s ecommerce business — across both prescription and non-prescription products — setting targets, tracking performance, and driving accountability across revenue, margin, and profitability. • Proactively identify the highest-value opportunities for product sales — assessing market signals, platform data, and customer needs — then determine what is required to pursue them and drive cross-functional execution to deliver. • Define and evolve the product assortment strategy across both prescription and OTC categories — balancing pet-health relevance, commercial potential, and brand trust. • Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and emerging product categories to keep Dutch ahead of the curve. • Partner deeply with Dutch's AI team to build a personalized product recommendation engine grounded in our EMR data and vet-issued insights — creating experiences no traditional retailer can match. • Define the data inputs, recommendation logic, and feedback loops needed to surface the right products to the right pet parents at the right moment. • Champion a data-first culture across the commerce business: use analytics to prioritize, test, learn, and iterate quickly. • Lead the full reimagination of Dutch’s product storefront — from concept through execution — partnering closely with our Creative Director, UX Lead, and Engineering team to build an experience that is both vet-credible and commercially effective. • Own the merchandising strategy: curate and manage product collections, design promotional calendars, and think holistically about how categories, bundles, and campaigns work together to drive conversion and repeat purchase. • Define and implement the right selling mechanisms across Rx and OTC — subscriptions, auto-refills, bundles, vet-recommended collections, and promotional offers — ensuring a cohesive experience that feels tailored, not transactional. • Own the conversion funnel and continuously optimize through testing and iteration. • Manage the underlying data that brings out products to life and create a strategy around how we store and maintain metadata for our products. • Manage the product catalog lifecycle — from onboarding to performance review and sunset decisions. • Continuously scout for hot new products, emerging brands, and category innovations that align with our pet parents' needs.
• Develop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces. • Develop and launch native application for iOS and Android. • Transform wireframes and design concepts into functional web applications using modern front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Develop and deploy different versions of a feature to determine which one performs better, using data to inform product decisions and drive conversions. • Optimize applications for speed and performance, and ensure they are compatible across different browsers and devices. • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure data flows smoothly, as well as with UI/UX designers to implement design concepts that align with the brand. • Keep up-to-date on new technologies and tools to bring innovative ideas to the company's products.
• Own and lead Dutch’s legal function across corporate, regulatory, commercial, product, privacy, employment, litigation, and compliance matters • Serve as a strategic legal advisor to the CEO, executive team, and board on key business, regulatory, and risk decisions • Partner closely with clinical, pharmacy, product, operations, marketing, finance, people, and growth teams to enable compliant and scalable execution • Lead Dutch’s legal strategy around veterinary telemedicine, VCPR, pharmacy operations, prescribing, state-by-state regulatory requirements, and related healthcare compliance matters • Support Dutch’s regulatory advocacy efforts as the company works to expand access to virtual veterinary care across the United States • Build legal frameworks that allow Dutch to launch new products, expand into new states, enter new business lines, and deepen its pet health platform • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, strategic partnerships, pharmacy-related agreements, marketing agreements, data/privacy agreements, and other business-critical contracts • Advise on product and marketing initiatives, including claims review, consumer protection, advertising compliance, subscription practices, and customer-facing disclosures • Oversee corporate governance, board materials, financing support, equity matters, cap table administration, and investor-related legal work • Manage employment legal matters in partnership with the People team, including policies, employee relations, offer documentation, separations, and compliance with applicable employment laws • Develop and scale internal legal processes, templates, policies, approval workflows, and playbooks that help teams move faster with better judgment • Manage outside counsel efficiently across regulatory, corporate, employment, litigation, pharmacy, privacy, and other specialized areas • Identify and proactively mitigate legal and regulatory risk without slowing down the business unnecessarily • Help prepare Dutch for future scale, including potential strategic transactions, financing events, audits, and public-company readiness over time
• Own Dutch’s pet insurance vertical end-to-end, including strategy, launch, growth, operations, and financial performance • Develop the business plan for Dutch Insurance, including revenue model, margin profile, customer acquisition strategy, retention strategy, and long-term growth roadmap • Lead the work required to make Dutch Insurance available nationally, including the path to launching in all 50 states • Partner with legal, compliance, insurance carriers, brokers, TPAs, and other external partners to ensure Dutch’s insurance offering is compliant, scalable, and operationally sound • Evaluate and manage insurance partnership structures, including carrier relationships, agency/broker models, underwriting partners, claims partners, and potential MGA-style opportunities • Define the customer experience across quote, purchase, onboarding, claims education, renewal, and ongoing member engagement • Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, lifecycle, CX, clinical, legal, and finance to integrate insurance into the Dutch member experience • Build and optimize the insurance funnel, including pricing presentation, plan positioning, conversion, attach rate, and cross-sell opportunities • Own the insurance P&L, including revenue, CAC, contribution margin, retention, partner economics, and operating costs • Develop dashboards, reporting, and operating cadences to track the health of the business • Identify new growth opportunities across Dutch’s existing member base, new member acquisition funnel, employer/affiliate channels, and strategic partnerships • Build the team, processes, and vendor infrastructure required to scale the vertical over time • Serve as the internal expert and executive owner for the insurance business
• Own and execute Dutch’s social strategy across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms • Create and publish high-performing content (short-form video, static, reactive, and trend-based) • Partner with Creative and Content teams to develop scroll-stopping, on-brand assets • Manage content calendar aligned to campaigns, launches, and cultural moments • Drive engagement through community management (comments, DMs, conversations) • Identify trends, memes, and cultural moments to create timely, relevant content • Collaborate with Growth to test paid amplification, whitelisting, and creator content • Work with PR and Partnerships on influencer and celebrity integrations • Analyze performance, create reports, and optimize based on engagement, reach, shares, SOV, and conversion signals • Support lifecycle and cross-channel content (email, SMS, landing pages) as needed
