Senior Consultant, SAP Procurement/SAP Ariba (German)

• You will advise and support our clients in digitalizing their procurement processes and help implement them based on strategically central SAP technologies such as Next‑Gen SAP Ariba. • Together with your team, you will optimize the client's end‑to‑end procurement processes. • You will lead (sub)projects to transform existing systems into a new SAP Ariba environment. • In this role you will manage the entire project cycle: from Fit‑to‑Standard analysis to developing a roadmap and rolling out the new system. • As an innovation driver, you anticipate our clients' needs and actively contribute to the continuous development of our team's portfolio. • You apply AI‑assisted development tools in daily work to increase productivity, improve code quality, and produce high‑quality documentation that contributes to robust and maintainable solutions. • You will be involved in positioning our consulting offerings in the market, identifying opportunities and pursuing them with the support of your coach. • Work with IT and business colleagues to develop solutions for specific problems, sometimes leveraging existing solutions and systems. • Build professional relationships with clients, management and team members to ensure delivery of the proposed solutions.

Job Requirements

  • University degree with more than 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in management consulting.
  • Consulting experience in SAP implementation or optimization projects in the procurement area.
  • Ideally, you have already led projects in an S/4HANA or Ariba environment.
  • System knowledge in one or more of the following areas: SAP Ariba Guided Buying, SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management and S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of cross‑functional procurement processes and experience with AI‑assisted solutions, or an interest in developing such solutions.
  • You possess analytical and conceptual skills combined with an understanding of the feasibility of technical requirements.
  • You proactively drive topics forward and show initiative to help shape the team's growth.
  • You are interested in and enjoy expanding your competencies in the future to other SAP solutions in procurement.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, depending on project requirements.
