Senior Director, Medical Excellence – Operations
Solid Biosciences
• Design and implement the Medical Affairs operating model, governance structure, and annual planning processes. • Develop scalable processes, SOPs, and best practices to support organizational growth. • Drive operational excellence across all Medical Affairs activities. • Develop departmental dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics. • Establish mechanisms to measure Medical Affairs impact and effectiveness. • Lead Medical Affairs annual planning, goal setting, and business reviews. • Translate medical insights and operational metrics into strategic recommendations. • Manage Medical Affairs budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation. • Oversee grant, sponsorship, congress, publication, and vendor budgets. • Lead implementation and optimization of Medical Affairs technologies and platforms. • Establish performance metrics and oversight processes for external partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8–12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs Operations, Commercial Operations, Clinical Operations, or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience building operational infrastructure in a growing biotechnology or pharmaceutical organization.
- Strong analytics, project management, budgeting, and leadership skills.
- Experience supporting global Medical Affairs organizations preferred.
