Role Description We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to support a time-sensitive cybersecurity initiative focused on deploying CrowdStrike across enterprise workstation and server environments. This role will lead SCCM-based packaging, deployment configuration, and troubleshooting during a proof-of-value (POV) phase that transitions into production rollout. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep SCCM experience and strong endpoint management skills who can operate independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain SCCM deployment packages for: - Workstations - Servers - Endpoint security agents (CrowdStrike) - Develop and test uninstall packages for legacy endpoint security tools (e.g., Trend Micro) - Configure SCCM deployment collections/groups and target endpoints appropriately - Define deployment rings/phases and assist in deployment scheduling and execution - Support proof-of-value (POV) deployments (approximately 400 endpoints) and scale to production (approximately 5,000 endpoints) - Execute deployment troubleshooting and remediation in collaboration with internal teams - Assist with validation of successful installations and endpoint compliance - Collaborate with systems and security teams during rollout cycles - Provide general systems administration support as needed (patching, ticket resolution, etc.) Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering or systems administration - Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SCCM - Experience deploying software packages at enterprise scale - Solid understanding of Windows endpoint environments (workstations and servers) - Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot SCCM deployments independently - Experience supporting enterprise rollout or migration projects Preferred / Nice-to-Have - Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon deployment - Familiarity with Intune and endpoint co-management - Experience with VMware Horizon (VDI) environments - Exposure to: - Nutanix / AHV - Red Hat Linux (RHEL 8/9) - Automation/scripting experience: - PowerShell (required) - Python, Ansible, or similar tools (preferred) - Prior experience in security tooling migration or endpoint consolidation projects Skills - System administrator - Active directory Additional Skills & Qualifications - Remote role (U.S.-based) - Must be able to work during core business hours and respond quickly during deployment windows - Interview process will be expedited (single interview preferred) Job Type & Location - This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO.
