• Development and Innovation: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for new initiatives, applying best practices for organization, optimization, and a strong engineering focus • Backend Modeling: Design and define data repository models (data lakes, data warehouses, relational and non-relational databases) for productionizing structured tables • Quality and Observability: Implement systems, routines, and data quality checklists to monitor, validate, and ensure the consistency and quality of datasets in collaboration with the business team • Consultative Interface: Gather technical and functional requirements directly from stakeholders and business partners (Credit, Collections, and Fraud), translating complex problems into efficient solutions • Coordination and Resolution: Proactively connect people to remove blockers and resolve incidents, ensuring end-to-end delivery without bottlenecks • DataOps and Documentation: Maintain technical and functional documentation of solutions using the company's standardized platforms, ensuring CI/CD is used to automate processes and participating in multidisciplinary ceremonies (360° view)
Job Requirements
- Proven Experience: Solid previous experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related areas with a backend focus, autonomy, and delivery orientation
- Languages: Advanced proficiency in SQL and proficiency in Python (preferred) or another programming language
- Data Architecture: Hands-on experience with Big Data, data warehousing, and scalable data modeling
- Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud ecosystems, with an advanced focus on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and its components (Composer, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Bigtable)
- Orchestration and Version Control: Knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Composer) and version control (Git)
- Data Culture: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DataOps practices, and governance/data quality tools
- Soft Skills: High adaptability to work across multiple financial business areas, proactive problem-solving, and concise communication to engage both technical and corporate audiences.
