DesignOps – Specialist I

Grupo Boticário

• Create and manage onboarding and offboarding journeys for designers • Map team skills and organize training or mentorship programs • Act as a bridge between Design, Strategy and the Design System, managing contribution processes, adoption and versioning within the design strategy • Promote and scale a DesignOps culture across design, technology and other areas • Plan and lead research, collaborative working sessions and workshops with the team • Organize and run events, lead community initiatives and actions to strengthen the design culture • Develop knowledge architecture, planning and maintaining the Directorate’s repositories and guidelines • Map end-to-end workflows (from discovery to delivery) to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions • Implement automations to eliminate repetitive tasks • Manage governance of the design tool ecosystem and integrate artificial intelligence agents to automate routines in an ethical and scalable way • Lead budget allocation for procuring tools, software licenses and external agencies • Lead the procurement process, managing licenses and budgets (Figma, usability testing tools) • Maintain organization of files, libraries and the team’s knowledge repositories • Create and manage operational health and team efficiency dashboards that translate design impact into numbers, focusing on efficiency, quality and business impact • Communicate the value of design across the organization (executives and stakeholders), creating success cases and high-impact presentations

Job Requirements

  • Strong systems thinking and systemic vision, understanding the impact of tool changes across the entire product chain
  • High level of influence, communication and executive negotiation skills to engage with C-level and directors
  • Adaptability to lead change management, testing technologies (such as generative AIs)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Technology, Communication or related fields
  • Experience in a similar Design Ops role or operational leadership in technology companies, agencies or e-commerce
