• Lead the strategic direction, development, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of the General Education curriculum. • Ensure alignment with institutional learning outcomes, competency-based education principles, accreditation standards, workforce needs, and best practices in higher education. • Foster academic excellence by promoting rigorous, student-centered instruction and innovative teaching practices across all General Education courses. • Recruit, mentor, develop, and support a high-performing team of faculty and academic leaders committed to student success. • Champion evidence-based curriculum design, instructional innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration across the University. • Lead initiatives that improve student persistence, retention, progression, and graduation through proactive academic support and data-informed interventions. • Oversee remediation strategies and student success initiatives that strengthen college readiness and help students overcome academic barriers. • Advance online, hybrid, asynchronous, and technology-enhanced learning while thoughtfully integrating emerging educational technologies and artificial intelligence. • Partner with Institutional Research, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Advising, Disability Services, and other university leaders to improve learning outcomes and the overall student experience. • Oversee assessment, accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. • Serve as a key member of the Academic Leadership Team, contributing to institutional strategy, resource planning, and university-wide initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education.
  • Experience leading faculty, curriculum development, academic operations, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience with accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness.
  • Proven success leading organizational change, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Doctoral degree in Higher Education, Education, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience implementing competency-based education (preferred).
  • Leadership experience supporting online and hybrid learning environments (preferred).
  • Experience advancing faculty development and instructional innovation (preferred).
  • Experience with regional accreditation processes, assessment systems, and learning analytics (preferred).

Role Description Provides real-time teller assistance to members from a centralized location through video transmission via the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM). Performs a variety of financial transactions. Provides professional, prompt, and courteous service and respects the confidentiality of members. Directly responsible for the supervision of daily teller activities and reconciliation of ITM checks clearing through the Federal Reserve account. Responsible for balancing all Loomis serviced machines on a rotating schedule. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Assists tellers with daily activities such as check approvals, locating and correcting errors, and resolving member-related questions. - Monitors and communicates any technical problems with the machines to management. - Shares duties with the back-up Head Teller for reconciliation of the Loomis cash vault and ATM/ITM Keystone drawers for Loomis serviced machines. - Places semi-weekly currency orders and replenishment schedules for Loomis serviced machines. - Works with multiple software programs concurrently to complete transactions, control lane lights, and to control ITM functionality. - Compiles statistical data for the Loomis machines for use in data analysis to determine patterns, transaction volume, and currency replenishment needs. - Maintains the over/short log for the department to be used for statistical data as well as a resource for other departments for dispute and error resolution. - Performs ITM transactions/sessions to accommodate member traffic. - Responsible for the development of positive working relationships within the department in order to provide quality service to the membership. - Attends Head Teller meetings as scheduled and relays information to the department manager and fellow employees as needed. - Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements - Maintain a cohesive, highly trained, motivated staff sufficient to meet daily demands. - Ensures that all tellers are providing friendly, professional, personal service to all members. - Must maintain the Quality Loop average of the current year's corporate goal. - Promote a sales culture within the branch by example. - Coach and develop employees to identify cross-sale opportunities. - Keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the branch. - Supports credit union growth by recognizing opportunities to promote Credit Union products to meet members’ needs. - Consistently demonstrate leadership qualities when dealing with staff members and complete tasks in allotted timeframes by exercising effective time management.
