Engineering Manager, Tokenisation

Zero Hash

• Work with a team of talented engineers and product managers to deliver tokenization products and features that support Zero Hash’s business • Partner closely with product and program managers to ensure the tokenization roadmap is well understood and the team is able to plan and execute on expected outcomes • Work with the team on technical planning to ensure that product requirements—such as smart contract logic and asset lifecycle management—are captured in the technical solution • Partner with other Engineering Managers to drive the broader technical roadmap forward • Support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence in blockchain development and integration • Manage processes to help the team do its best work and interface effectively with the rest of Zero Hash • Recruit, coach, and develop engineers, specifically those specializing in smart contracts and distributed ledger technology • Help engineers establish career development plans within the evolving digital asset space • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Zero Hash’s engineering management team • Participate in essential technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across our product and operations teams • Work with a wide range of stakeholders to build a clear vision for your team’s role in the tokenization ecosystem • Oversee the success of your team's projects and achieve quantifiable results regarding asset issuance and throughput • Introduce industry-leading engineering patterns and practices that give us the confidence to do bold things in the RWA space • Make consistent development contributions so as to maintain competency with our codebase and system architecture

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a significant focus on building and maintaining robust APIs and SDKs for B2B integration
  • 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing staff and principal-level engineers
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience
  • Proven track record of managing teams that have delivered complex, production-grade blockchain or financial products
  • Golang expertise, familiar with Go’s idiomatic approach and niches
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and React for frontend services and dashboarding
  • Deep Understanding of Tokenization & Blockchain: Expertise in smart contract development (Solidity, Rust, or Go-based chaincode)
  • Experience with token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and security token standards like ERC-1400)
  • Knowledge of on-chain transaction flows, minting/burning logic, and oracle integration
  • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the lifecycle of Real World Assets (RWAs) and their transition to digital ledgers
  • Familiarity with custody solutions, multi-sig architectures, and MPC (Multi-Party Computation)
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to digital securities and tokenized assets (e.g., KYC/AML triggers on-chain)
  • Core Infrastructure & Distributed Systems: Experience building and managing mission-critical backend systems such as high-throughput accounting/ledger systems
  • Experience with distributed system design and messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka, NATS, or ZeroMQ) for data distribution and persistence
  • Expertise in writing highly concurrent, multi-threaded code and optimizing for high-throughput environments
