Data Program Associate AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices. We are currently seeking a Data Program Associate or Manager to join our Product team and push forward our data product. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and articulating business outcomes we expect to derive from this data. You will also be responsible for acquiring new datasets with third parties. This will require close collaboration with peers on the product team to prioritize the right datasets, evaluate ROI and data quality, and ensure the business can make investment decisions correctly. With empathy for how we collect, curate, and use data, you will use AI both at work and in our official data pipelines to help create and acquire datasets. Team Mission The AcuityMD platform features data from across the healthcare industry. Our data assets are the foundation of our application and central to the value we deliver to clients. The quality of our data is paramount for building trust with new clients and maintaining trust with existing clients. We operate in a field where we must constantly search for ground-truth data we can leverage to improve the quality of our product. Responsibilities Execute on new data acquisition with third parties. Including but not limited to coordination, contracting process, and ensuring alignment to the business value. Partner with the product teams to prioritize new datasets, ensuring ROI justifies pursuit. Partner with the product teams to coordinate deployment of the data into roadmap. Evaluate new segments and craft business cases to help align the executive team around investment decisions. Help build AI systems to acquire new data, define the ways we measure data quality, identify where and how we can improve our data and processes. Your Profile 2-8 years of relevant experience You build empathy for customer problems and seek to understand, question, and improve the user experiences A plus if you have experience engaging external vendors and going through discovery processes. You’re exceptionally organized and can drive multiple projects forward simultaneously. You’re comfortable with spreadsheets and structuring analyses and summaries out from them. You seek hard problems to solve and are comfortable with ambiguity. You often structure your thinking in writing to sort through ambiguity. You pay strong attention to detail You communicate clearly and concisely, can reason through tradeoffs, and tell stories using data You have a bias towards action You’re an exceptional communicator - you are able to turn a stream of ideas into clarity and priorities. You’re eager to learn new skills around building AI systems and roll up your sleeves to ensure they’re of high quality with evals. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided.
