340B Auditor

Bon Secours Mercy Health

• Responsible for the auditing and monitoring of the 340B Drug Discount Program for compliance with federal requirements/guidelines • Complete and document audits as outlined in the 340B policies and procedures • Collaborate with other 340B staff to perform specialized audits/projects as required • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly audits of all 340B-eligible locations to verify adherence with the 340B Program guidelines and policies • Upload data and monitor data upload process for software systems and tools daily • Assist with creating, refining, and executing 340B audits as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience with pharmacy 340B required or; 1-2 years – progressive hospital or healthcare system pharmacy or healthcare auditing or healthcare business experience preferred
  • Healthcare system knowledge base/skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to quickly learn technical systems such as EMR systems, retail pharmacy systems, and/or 340B software systems
  • Ability to work in a complex team environment and to collaborate with peers to complete required work
  • Strong interest in pharmacy practice advancement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communication style that is open and fosters trust, credibility and understanding.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in food science or bio science is required. - 5+ years’ work experience and qualified as Lead Auditor to FSSC, BRC and/or SQF. - Minimum 5 years’ work experience of proven management function in food industry. - Minimum 2 years’ work experience in quality assurance function or food safety management system coordination. Requirements - Travels up to 80% of the time - automobile / airplane, some travel might be international with flight time 8+ hours depending on the destination. Weekend travel may be necessary to meet utilization requirements. - Strong background and knowledge of technical applications of the standards. - Language Skills: Highest advanced level of English. - Mathematical Skills: Basic level. - Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Basic level. - Excellent communication and interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills. - Proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills. - Effectively react in stressful situations and make clear, well-founded decisions regarding conformity during the audit. - Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while delivering results on time. - Act with integrity, tact, and character.
