• Lead mechanical design for cranes, lifting beams, hoists, and rigging systems • Create 3D models & drawings in SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo • Run FEA, load calculations, and structural analysis • Manage projects from concept to delivery — including fabrication and field support • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and fabrication teams • Support testing, commissioning, and incident investigations • Support fabrication shops and field teams across the Houston region

• Provide Technical Leadership of a small group of Engineers and Contractors in activities related to analyses, calculations and technical evaluations required for timely resolution of design and implementation issues • Manage project work schedules and priorities • Mentor and provide technical leadership in area of expertise to other engineers and projects • Support drafting of civil and mechanical design and/or equipment construction activities • Respond to vendor questions and deviation requests; review and approve vendor document submittals • Support the certification processes for GE Products (e.g. BWRX-300, VTR, Natrium) • Establish and maintain technical oversight of the applicable regulations (e.g.; US, other national, or global region) • Incorporate design requirements into analyses and design documents • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments

• Own physical security system designs for new construction and retrofit projects across offices, warehouses, labs and data centers • Produce security floor plans, device layouts, riser diagrams, and system schematics for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection • Develop and maintain security design standards, templates, and reference architectures • Translate risk assessments, compliance requirements, and threat models into technical security solutions • Attend design reviews with architects, MEP engineers, construction managers, and security operations • Review RFPs, scopes of work, and technical specifications for global security integrators and vendors • Review shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation for technical accuracy and compliance • Support on-site commissioning, testing, and turnover to operations teams • Act as a technical authority for access control, video management, identity, and physical security infrastructure
