Data Product Manager, Supply Chain

• Participate in the development and evolution of data products focused on Supply Chain, leading product direction and communications with your direct leadership; • Lead alignment sessions, problem exploration, and ideation with squads, stakeholders, partners, and users; • Deliver executive presentations that translate the team’s deliverables into business impact; • Prioritization and data analysis: prioritize initiatives and features based on data, business impact, and user feedback, analyzing quantitative and qualitative information to support decisions and product evolution; • Facilitate workshops, exercises, and meetings; • Build the product narrative to continuously influence and coordinate politically and relationally across the various interacting areas; • Ensure the quality of deliveries and maintain continuous dialogue with stakeholders regarding improvements, evolutions, features, and new capabilities of the data products; • Lead discussions and contribute ideas and suggestions in technical conversations with Analytics Engineering and Data Science teams; • Support leadership in the operational management of the team, especially by monitoring team progress and evolution metrics; • Organize the backlog and encourage technical team autonomy in applying Agile best practices; • Product lifecycle management: manage the product through all of its phases, from conception and discovery to development, launch, growth, maturity, and decommissioning.

Job Requirements

  • It is essential to have worked with data products (with a focus on Data Science and/or Analytics Engineering) as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Analyst; preferably have acted as a Data Product Manager;
  • Experience building products from scratch, from conception to launch, preferably having performed multiple PM responsibilities throughout the process;
  • Basic knowledge of Data Science (e.g., types of modeling, statistical approaches, experimentation cycles, model testing and PoCs) — able to communicate and guide the team (programming skills are not required);
  • Good familiarity with data modeling, able to organize and structure data and even lead analytical studies with the squad;
  • Comfortable with and knowledgeable about applying Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban and/or others) in multidisciplinary, collaborative teams;
  • Familiarity with User Experience concepts and practices, product design, hypothesis testing, and innovation scenarios;
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders;
  • Ability to weigh discussions and encourage data-driven decisions;
  • Ability to combine quantitative analysis with qualitative research to develop hypotheses and make decisions;
  • Clear and objective communication skills in writing, speaking, narrative building and presentations;
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing change and ongoing transformation;
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, proactively signaling blockers and unforeseen scenarios at any stage of the product lifecycle;
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, a questioning product mindset, and strategic vision regarding impact, results, and scalability.
  • DIFFERENTIALS:
  • Experience in Supply Chain products/projects is a strong advantage for this role;
  • Experience as a PM in teams with multiple data and digital roles is an advantageous differentiator;
  • Experience managing by OKRs;
  • Experience working with products involving multiple stakeholders and different hierarchical levels;
  • Experience using communication and analytical skills to solve complex problems;
  • Experience applying AI concepts and tools in the prototyping process.
