VP of Sales Operations – Cannabinoid, Hemp Brands

• Own and enforce consistent CRM (HubSpot) usage across the sales organization, including deal stages, activity tracking, promotions, forecasting, and data accuracy. • Translate sales strategy, training, and initiatives into enforceable workflows, required fields, and operating cadences within HubSpot. • Set and uphold execution standards; address and escalate non-compliance when core fundamentals are not followed. • Own sales forecasting, pipeline health, and revenue predictability across accounts, reps, and regions. • Build and maintain execution-focused dashboards that reflect reality (not vanity metrics). • Lead weekly pipeline reviews and execution check-ins with sales leadership. • Identify risks early and recommend corrective actions. • Ensure sales readiness before launching new programs, promotions, or initiatives. • Define clear go / no-go criteria based on system readiness, team capacity, and execution risk. • Pause, redesign, or discontinue initiatives that cannot be executed effectively. • Build, scaling, and leading a national sales team that crushes goals and sets a culture of results, accountability, and excellence. • Create and maintain sales playbooks, operating standards, and execution checklists. • Ensure training translates into required behaviors and system usage. • Prepare the organization for scale by hardening fundamentals before layering complexity. • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure commercial plans are executable end-to-end. • Align forecasting with inventory availability, margin targets, and cash flow realities. • Ensure marketing programs and promotions are operationally supported by sales systems.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles with direct ownership of execution, including Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar functions.
- Track record of building, repairing, and scaling sales execution in high-growth, operationally complex environments.
- Build and lead a national sales team that consistently hits targets and operates with a culture of accountability and execution.
- Deep proficiency with HubSpot CRM, including hands-on implementation, workflow design, reporting, and enforcement.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and promotion mechanics.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and biased toward action over analysis.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to push back when needed.

• Analyze sales data to generate insights on pipeline health, conversion rates, quota attainment, and revenue trends • Create reports for the sales team in a timely manner, generate leaderboard metrics • Work on data cleanliness within our CRM, identify key issues within the data and plans to remediate • Assist with commissions data at month end, work with commissions teams on any discrepancies in data • Work with our Channel Operations team on resolving deal registrations, assist with data cleanup and basic channel reporting • Help resolve deal registrations issues; check for partner qualifications • Support annual and quarterly planning processes, including territory design, quota setting, and headcount planning • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Revenue Operations, and GTM Strategy to align initiatives and deliver accurate forecasting • Assist in sales tool evaluation, implementation, and optimization • Provide ad hoc analysis and strategic support for executive-level presentations
