Role Description We are seeking a Senior Requirements & Tools Engineer to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for requirements management. This role will partner with GR&D requirements engineers to drive and evolve best practices; drive adoption of Jama Connect as the system of record for requirements and enable teams through training and workflow design. This position is critical to establishing clear separation and alignment between requirements management and execution tracking, ensuring high-quality, approved requirements drive engineering work. - Serve as the primary SME for Jama Connect, including configuration, workflows, and governance - Define, standardize, and scale requirements management best practices across engineering teams - Develop and deliver training programs on Jama Connect and associated processes - Design and implement role-based workflows in Jama, ensuring only approved requirements are eligible for downstream execution - Partner with engineering, product, and program teams to ensure traceability Qualifications - Bachelor Degree and 5+ years of experience in requirements/systems - Deep hands-on experience with Jama Connect is required (configuration, workflows, and/or administration) - Strong understanding of requirements lifecycle management and systems engineering principles - Experience defining and implementing workflow governance, including approval states and role-based access - Proven ability to train and enable engineering teams on tools and processes - Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering and product organizations - Experience with integrations and Jira usage Benefits - Work on meaningful projects that use technology to solve real-world challenges - Exposure to top global companies working with Capgemini (145 of the Fortune 500 companies) - Access continuous learning through internal academies, certifications, and mentorship
