Role Description As a senior software engineer, you'll be stepping into a small, dynamic team in its scale-up phase. The engineering team is currently ~12 members strong and is led by the organization's CTO. The team allocates cycles to the projects with the largest market opportunity, and engineers move between projects in response to demand, as they share an underlying tech stack. Hiring is underway to accelerate the development of a highly anticipated visual content generation product with a full order book. Key responsibilities - Full stack software engineering: - Design and implement a wide variety of services including APIs, customer-facing dashboards, virtual browser orchestration services, and web scrapers. - System scalability & performance engineering: - Participate in technical design discussions to ensure systems scale effectively as usage volumes and feature complexity grow. - Prompt engineering: - Fine-tune LLM and VLM prompts to generate high quality text and visual content. - Cross-functional collaboration: - Work closely with product designers and customer-facing teams to ensure delivery roadmaps are aligned with market demand and customer feedback. - Continuous learning & adaptability: - Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices; experiment with new approaches to improve efficiency and strengthen the services over time. Qualifications - You have 5+ years of experience shipping production-grade, customer-facing software. - You have experience designing and implementing backend and frontend systems. - You have experience shipping and maintaining React web applications. - You have a fantastic command of English. Requirements - It's a bonus if you have experience founding or helping scale an AI and/or B2B SaaS venture. - You have experience with DevOps practices/technologies and development tooling. - You have experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning. - You have experience with browser automation tools. Role Description This is a product-focused engineering role where you'll play a key part not just in building, but also in shaping our integration platform (supporting 250+ integrations). You'll have the opportunity to influence product direction, work closely with customers, and help make it easier for them to launch products powered by high-volume telematics data. As a Staff Engineer on our Product & Integrations team, you'll take a leading role in shaping the long-term vision of our integration platform. You'll not only design and deliver complex systems, but also drive technical strategy, set architectural direction, and influence how our platform evolves to support hundreds of diverse integrations. You'll partner closely with customers, product, and engineering leadership to ensure we're building the right abstractions and reusable components that scale with our growth. This is a role with broad ownership, where your leadership and judgment will raise the technical bar across the team and directly impact how customers succeed with high-volume telematics data. What you will do - Contribute to the integration framework and platform that supports 250+ integrations. - Scope, build, and implement new integrations to broaden the platform's reach. - Engage directly with customers to design and build new features that add value to our platform. - Build reliable, intuitive APIs that simplify customer implementations. - Create tooling and patterns that improve testing, observability, and platform reliability. - Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring scalability as data volumes grow. - Contribute to code reviews and share best practices to uphold high standards across the team. - Perform technical demos and provide technical support directly to customers. Qualifications - 6+ years of building production systems. - 2+ years of experience with Node.js & TypeScript. - 4+ years of experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms. - Strong customer empathy with excitement to support new feature launches, troubleshoot directly with customers, and support technical sales. - Comfort working with and building integrations for systems with limited or unclear documentation. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in distributed systems. Requirements - Experience with serverless and/or event-driven architectures (e.g. AWS Lambda, SQS, Kafka). - Experience working with orchestration / workflow engines (e.g. Step Functions, Temporal). - Experience with JVM languages (for cross team work). Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. - Has professional experience building full-stack applications (at least 4 years of professional full-time development experience, React experience a plus). - Is extremely talented and good at what you do (You execute complex tasks in half the time of your peers). - Has professional experience building and owning production-grade products in real life (not pet projects or projects for clients). - Has a very product and customer focused mindset. - Has been bitten by enough code quality and maintenance issues in production codebases/systems to be opinionated on how they should be built. - Is self-driven and can roll with the punches in a fast-paced environment where priorities and requirements may change frequently. Requirements - Bonus points if you are an ex-founder OR worked at an early-stage startup previously (Series A or earlier). - Have an eye for visual design (or past experience in product design, Figma, etc).
