Your role at DynatraceThe Accounting Analyst is responsible for monthly journal entries, month-end accounting, account reconciliations and analytical review of balances, along with assisting with quarterly and year end audit preparations. This role would also partner with the Financial Reporting & Analysis team to ensure functional accounting areas are maintained properly, as well as other accounting duties as assigned. The ideal candidate would have excellent analytical skills and have strong working knowledge of US GAAP. Responsibilities: - Prepare journal entries and schedules for month-end closing in accordance with corporate deadlines - Prepare various account reconciliations - Analyze and research monthly trend information, balance sheet and income statement account fluctuations and assist with providing explanations for significant or unusual changes in balances - Participate in the preparation and review of monthly reports/analyses to Management - Partner with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure functional areas are correct and maintained appropriately - Work within the monthly closing process ensuring all tasks performed within the set time frame - Perform work to maintain Internal Audit/SOX compliance - Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned - Leverage technology, including AI, with an eye toward automation and process improvement This is a hybrid role out of our Detroit, MI office (2 days a week).
