Role Description Careem is looking for a sharp, execution-focused Marketing Executive to join our Vertical Marketing team in Amman. At L7, you are an emerging marketing professional who brings energy, curiosity, and a strong bias for action. You will work closely with senior marketers to plan and execute campaigns that drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement across Careem's key verticals. This role sits at the intersection of brand, performance, and local market insight. You will be the boots-on-the-ground champion for vertical marketing in Jordan, translating regional strategies into locally resonant campaigns that move the needle. What You'll Do - Support the end-to-end execution of vertical marketing campaigns across digital, OOH, and in-app channels in the Jordanian market. - Partner with the Rides, Food, and Grocery vertical teams to develop and roll out go-to-market plans, seasonal activations, and promotional campaigns. - Brief creative teams and agencies on campaign assets; ensure all content is culturally relevant, on-brand, and optimise for the local audience. - Monitor campaign KPIs (impressions, CTR, conversion, GMV uplift), compile performance reports, and surface actionable insights to the team. - Work closely with Growth, Product, Operations, and City teams to align marketing initiatives with business priorities. - Coordinate with media agencies, OOH vendors, and local partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of campaign materials. - Track competitor activity, local consumer trends, and vertical-specific insights to inform campaign strategy. - Assist in tracking campaign spend against allocated budgets and flag variances proactively. Qualifications - 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally within a consumer-facing brand, tech startup, or agency environment. - Solid understanding of integrated marketing—digital, social, OOH, and in-app. - Proven ability to execute campaigns end-to-end with attention to detail and strong project management skills. - Comfortable working with data and dashboards—able to read performance metrics and translate them into clear recommendations. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English. - Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. - A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Benefits - Work and learn from great minds by joining a community of inspiring colleagues. - Put your passion to work in a purposeful organisation dedicated to creating impact in a region with a lot of untapped potential. - Explore new opportunities to learn and grow every day. - Work remotely from any country in the world for 30 days a year with unlimited vacation days per year. - Access to healthcare benefits and fitness reimbursements for health activities including gym, health club, and training classes.
