Senior Marketing Executive
Careem
Role Description Careem is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to own marketing for the Tenants vertical — a fast-growing business line within Careem Ventures. Based in Amman and operating across the UAE and Jordan, you'll drive the marketing strategy end-to-end, from planning through execution, working closely with country and regional teams. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can think strategically and stay close to execution in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. You'll have real ownership, real impact, and direct visibility with Ventures leadership. What You'll Do - Own the vertical marketing strategy for Tenants across the UAE and Jordan, aligned with Ventures and broader business objectives. - Build and execute go-to-market and always-on plans spanning brand, performance, lifecycle, and partnership marketing. - Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through data-informed, multi-channel campaigns — digital, performance, CRM, social, and offline/BTL. - Localize messaging and strategy to reflect the distinct dynamics of the UAE and Jordan markets. - Partner cross-functionally with product, growth, operations, and country teams to align marketing with business priorities and launch plans. - Manage the vertical's marketing budget, tracking ROI and optimizing spend across channels and markets. - Define and report on key marketing and growth KPIs, delivering performance insights to Ventures leadership. - Brief, manage, and evaluate external agencies and partners — creative, media, and PR — as needed. - Stay close to the market — monitoring competitor activity, trends, and customer insights across both markets to continuously sharpen strategy. Qualifications - 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally with exposure to the UAE and/or Jordan markets in tech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or a related high-growth industry. - Proven ownership of marketing strategy with a track record of delivering measurable growth results for a product, vertical, or business unit. - Strong command of brand and performance marketing, with hands-on experience across digital channels. - Data fluency — comfortable shaping strategy and proving impact through marketing and growth metrics. - Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across product, growth, and country teams. - Fluent English (written and spoken). Benefits - Work and learn from great minds by joining a community of inspiring colleagues. - Put your passion to work in a purposeful organisation dedicated to creating impact in a region with a lot of untapped potential. - Explore new opportunities to learn and grow every day. - Work remotely from any country in the world for 30 days a year with unlimited vacation days per year. - Access to healthcare benefits and fitness reimbursements for health activities including gym, health club, and training classes.
