Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Service Delivery (Procurement Operations), the Manager will lead a team responsible for delivering efficient, compliant, and customer-focused Procure-to-Pay operational support across global procurement. The role provides leadership, governance, and direction for high-volume procurement operations, including tail spend order support, purchase requisition / purchase order operational support, PO changes, supplier onboarding and enablement, Ariba catalog management, receiving / invoice issue resolution, operational reporting, audit support, and process documentation. The Manager will be accountable for service delivery performance, team effectiveness, process compliance, audit readiness, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement. The role will also serve as a Procure-to-Pay operations SME, supporting process design, operational controls, escalation management, system dependencies, and opportunities for automation and AI enablement. Lead Global Service Delivery Operations - Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for Procure-to-Pay operational support. - Manage workload prioritization, team performance, service delivery standards, and operational escalations. - Oversee support for tail spend transactions, PR / PO operational support, PO changes, PO confirmations, supplier onboarding, catalog support, receiving issues, and invoice reconciliation matters. - Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time, backlog, aging items, error trends, rework, service quality, and stakeholder escalations. - Act as the escalation point for operational issues, process exceptions, stakeholder concerns, and cross-functional dependencies. - Ensure consistent SOPs, operating procedures, escalation paths, training materials, and knowledge documentation. Serve as P2P Operations SME - Provide subject matter expertise on Procure-to-Pay processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, catalog management, receiving, invoice reconciliation, and procurement reporting. - Advise on process flows, role boundaries, controls, approval requirements, system dependencies, and operational best practices. - Support implementation of process changes, system enhancements, policy updates, and new service requirements. - Participate in process integration, transformation, and process change workshops to represent GSD operational needs and assess downstream impacts. - Provide input to senior leadership on operational risks, process gaps, resource needs, system constraints, and improvement opportunities. Own Governance, Compliance, and Audit Readiness - Ensure operations comply with procurement policies, approval workflows, internal controls, delegation of authority, and audit requirements. - Support SOX, IATF, customer audits, process audits, internal audits, and control reviews. - Maintain accurate SOPs, process maps, control documentation, transaction evidence, and audit support materials. - Partner with Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, Quality, Procurement leadership, and process owners to address audit findings and corrective actions. - Promote strong process discipline, documentation standards, and segregation of duties across the team. Drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement - Establish and manage operational KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for service performance and process health. - Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, recurring issues, rework drivers, manual effort, and process gaps. - Lead improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, compliance, stakeholder experience, and scalability. - Support transition, stabilization, and hypercare activities for new processes, sites, countries, suppliers, systems, or service scope changes. - Drive standardization of processes, documentation, reporting, and service delivery practices. Shape Automation, AI, and Digital Enablement - Bring an AI strategic mindset to identify practical opportunities for automation, AI-enabled workflows, analytics, and digital tools. - Translate operational pain points into business requirements for automation, reporting improvements, process redesign, and system enhancements. - Partner with IT, data, procurement systems, process excellence, and automation teams to design, test, deploy, and stabilize digital solutions. - Support UAT, change management, stakeholder communication, and team training for system or process enhancements. - Drive adoption of approved automation, AI, and analytics tools within the team. Manage Stakeholder Relationships - Build strong relationships with Procurement Category teams, Procurement Business Partners, Finance, Accounts Payable, Receiving, IT, master data teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders. - Communicate service performance, risks, escalations, audit matters, process changes, and improvement plans clearly to stakeholders and leadership. - Manage conflict and drive alignment across teams where issues involve unclear ownership, process gaps, supplier delays, invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, or system limitations. - Represent Global Service Delivery in governance forums, audit reviews, transformation discussions, process councils, and process integration workshops. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field. - Typically 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, Procure-to-Pay, shared services, business operations, finance operations, or supply chain operations. - Prior people management experience, preferably leading P2P, procurement operations, transactional procurement, shared services, or service delivery teams. - Strong understanding of P2P processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, catalog management, receiving, invoice reconciliation, and procurement controls.
