• Build and develop the controlling function, establishing scalable reporting processes and financial controls from the ground up. • Partner closely with Finance leadership to improve the quality, accuracy, and consistency of financial reporting and analysis. • Own monthly variance analysis, cash and open claims reconciliation reports, identifying trends and providing meaningful insights into business performance. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities. • Drive improvements to financial processes, including month-end close timelines and reporting standards. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen communication and ensure alignment between accounting and forecasting activities. • Help establish robust financial governance as the business continues to expand. • Develop insightful management reports and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making across the business. • Continuously identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve finance processes and reporting capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a similar finance function.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of German GAAP (HGB).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with exceptional proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Confidence building new processes, reports, and frameworks from scratch in an evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.

We're looking for a Group Credit Controller to be the subject matter expert on credit-related topics across the group, such as retail, wholesale, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
