Job Description

Project Support Manager

metergrid GmbH

• You independently handle the operational implementation of defined support processes across all projects. • Central handling of recurring project tasks, e.g., obtaining and tracking measurement concept approvals per project and grid operator. • Coordination of standardized consultations with grid operators, service providers, and internal teams. • End-to-end responsibility for your work packages from the request through execution to a clean handover to project management. • Maintenance and updating of project-related documents and systems: structured filing, status tracking, deadline and response monitoring. • Ensuring completeness, quality, and timeliness — you are the go-to person for your topics. • Standardization and continuous improvement of your processes. • Close collaboration with project managers. • You maintain and optimize the interfaces with project managers. • Important: You do not manage entire projects and you do not carry end-to-end project responsibility.

Job Requirements

  • Some experience in project-related or operational roles (e.g., project assistant, operations, PM support, back office, technical coordination).
  • Confident use of digital tools (e.g., CRM, ticketing, or project management systems).
  • Very good German language skills, written and spoken.
  • A university degree is not required; what matters is your working style, not your title.

Benefits

  • Flexible working arrangements: Whether in Stuttgart, Hamburg, Berlin, or fully remote — work where you are most productive.
  • Commute support: Subsidy for the Deutschlandticket (public transport pass) or single-ride tickets, plus bike leasing via salary sacrifice — affordable for your desired bike, 100% for private use.
  • Fit & healthy: With our Urban Sports Club subsidy you can train across thousands of studios and classes in Germany, from yoga to climbing.
  • Pension provision: We subsidize your company pension plan — for your future after metergrid.
  • Community: Regular cross-department events at our locations bring the whole team together.
  • Creative freedom: We are a motivated startup team without hierarchical layers. Here you can implement your ideas and help shape our direction.
  • Growth opportunities: Your personal and professional development matters to us — we offer diverse opportunities to develop in new directions.
  • Meaningful work: You are not just doing a job but contributing to a mission: the energy transition.
  • Fast learning curve and responsibility: From day one you are in the midst of things. We rely on your skills and support your development.
