Role Description This is the internal-facing operations seat. You support the founder + scale our hiring + own the operational infrastructure that keeps DZD running. Specifically, four lanes: - Hiring operations + people support: Coordinating the hiring pipeline, scheduling, internal communication, ATS hygiene. - Tom assistant + EA: Inbox triage, calendar management, prep docs, follow-up reminders, scheduling. - Operations infrastructure: SOP drafting, process docs, internal organisation, Notion/Drive maintenance. - Cross-cover: Backstop on internal handoff hygiene when the project manager is heads-down on client work. Compensation - Starting: $1,100/month USD. - Performance-gated step-ups baked in: - $1,400/month at Day 60 if probation passes - $1,700/month at 12-month milestone if sustained performance - Senior-tier raises Year 2+ subject to sustained multi-lane operation + scope expansion - The $1,100 starting rate is above-market for the PH + SA + LATAM pools we source from. You keep the rhythm of every client's campaign pipeline moving forward, every day, without anyone having to chase you: - Client-facing chase cadence. 5-7 day forward notice on every item. Over-communication as default. - Campaign pipeline tracking. Every campaign, every client, every stage, with 7+ day horizon visibility. - Internal handoffs. Briefs to designers, asset coordination, copy review, send-mechanic verification. - #servicedelivery heartbeat. Daily Outstanding Card, weekly Design of the Week, weekly forward-planning posts. - Link-QA + Trello hygiene. Pre-send verification, board state accurate, no drift. Qualifications - Ferocity on forward-chasing. You push, chase, over-communicate. You spot a stalled approval 3 days out, not 3 days late. - Smarts. You hold complex multi-thread situations in your head and make good calls when context is incomplete. - Long-term commitment. 2+ year career home, not a 6-month bridge. - Precision + definition of done. "Done" means shipped + verified received. Not "I sent it." - Foundations-first instinct. You chase a client when you need to, build the SOP when you need to. - AI-augmented but earned. AI for drafting and editing, not for substituting actual cadence work.
