Role Description The People Business Partnership function serves as a trusted advisor for consultants and management on people management topics, aligning business objectives with people strategies within a designated Business Unit. As a Manager, People Business Partnership at SPD Technology, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior business leaders, helping shape organizational success through effective people strategies and leadership excellence. You will: - Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders. - Proactively identify organizational needs. - Translate business priorities into scalable people initiatives that drive sustainable growth. - Lead strategic people initiatives across your Business Unit, including workforce planning, organizational design, leadership development, employee engagement, and change management. - Leverage people analytics and business insights to influence key decisions, identify organizational risks, and ensure effective execution of core people processes. - Coach managers through complex people challenges. - Foster a high-performance culture and promote psychological safety. - Ensure a consistent, transparent, and engaging employee experience while balancing business objectives with people needs. Qualifications - 6+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience within a dynamic software development environment. - 2+ years of team management experience (up to 5 people). - Proven experience partnering with Directors, Senior Managers, and business leadership as a trusted strategic advisor. - Proven experience collaborating with clients as a trusted People partner. - Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into effective people strategies. - Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills. - Demonstrated experience in organizational design, workforce planning, organizational development, and change management. - Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and organizational risk management. - Advanced analytical skills with experience interpreting workforce data and translating insights into business recommendations. - Experience driving employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning, and talent management initiatives. - Strong understanding of compensation and performance management processes. - Strategic understanding of modern HR technologies, AI tools, prompting, and workflow automation applied to People operations. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (minimum B2).
