The position owns the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and executive level selling through contracting, implementation handoff, while also helping shape product strategy and go to market efforts. Primary Responsibilities: - New Business Sales - Drive new business sales by prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting to C-level executives, and closing deals - Identify opportunities, manage coordinated team response and submit proposals - Strengthen brand presence and industry relationships through marketing coordination, sponsorships and leadership participation - Identify and develop resources relevant to business development and sales goals - Conduct webinars and presentations to raise the brand or product profile - Receive and complete requests for proposals and business proposals - Acquire new customers (TPAs, Health Plans, Networks, Employers, etc.) for various ClearHealth products from various sources (networking, conferences, client and broker referrals, industry research, organic outreach, etc.) - Manage all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, building proposals, direct sales presentations, closing of sales (building contracts, defining pricing, etc.) and post-sale transition to ClearHealth infrastructure (implementation) - Assist in new customer implementation by working together with CHS Client Management resources - Ensures a seamless transition of customer responsibility to the Account Management team following a successful implementation - Client Retention and Growth/Promotion - Identifying new opportunities for existing clients within the ClearHealth product offering and promote products and services that will drive additional client value - Support clients in education on ClearHealth products and services to support client-side employer and member growth including attending onsite meetings with client leadership, client sponsored sales conferences, symposiums & webinars, etc. - Work with Account Management to manage upsell opportunities - Maintain new and renewal business as assigned, to meet objectives and standards of performance or growth expectations - Growth Strategy & Product Development - Create, in tandem with ClearHealth and UHC legal resources, contractual agreements to correspond with customer business arrangements - Create short-term and long-term sales strategy and pipeline - Work with ClearHealth and UHC leadership and finance teams to define aggressive yet attainable sales goals - Stay current with industry trends to proactively identify new products and services for ClearHealth to offer - Work cross-functionally to bring net new products to market including building the business case, defining requirements, and gathering end user feedback for internal teams to build - Coordinate Marketing resources to deploy material/collateral and tactics that enhances the Sales process - Manage brand sponsorships with industry trade groups, client events, and other targeted positional opportunities - Management & Miscellaneous - Support ClearHealth / UHC leadership in UHG/UHC leadership discussions (QBRs, Business Planning, etc.) - Promotes and maintains good industry relationships by staying connected with prospects and customers on a periodic basis - Develop and maintain key internal relationships across ClearHealth, UHC & Optum - Track emerging markets and trends You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
