We have a varied client base that requires no overnight travel and no auditing. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant. CPA and one to three or more years of experience are preferred, but candidates with both more and less experience who display the necessary skills and attributes for success will be considered. Essential Job Duties Include - Prepare and review tax computations for 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 and complete returns. - Prepare and review tax plans. - Prepare monthly bookkeeping. - Prepare bank reconciliations. - Prepare and maintain payroll records. - Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements. - Maintain client depreciation schedules. - Remain up-to-date on current tax laws, technology, and software programs. - Maintain client contacts, assist clients with accounting questions as they arise, and provide exceptional client service. It is anticipated the Staff Accountant will average 50–60 hours per week during the period January 2 – April 15 and 24–32 hours per week during the period April 16 – December 31.
