Title: Lead Property Accountant Location: Washington, DC Job Description: Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position is TBD. Position Location: Washington, DC Telework/Work-from-Home Authorized: Yes About the Role: Sawdey Solution Services is seeking a highly experienced Lead Property Accountant to provide Civil Engineering and realty expertise to advise on planning, development, site location, construction management, general contracting oversight, cost control, build-out management and coordination with relevant third parties (e.g., lessors, general contractors, etc.) for in-process and planned Shore Infrastructure. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: - Provide financial and operational management support for Procurement, Construction, and Improvement (PC&I) and Coastal and Shore Operations (CSO) projects, including project cost estimating, cost adjustments, spend plans, annual engineering and logistics policy updates, project cost treatment, and FSMS technical support. - Provide Civil Engineering expertise on CSO funds to identify project status, review backlog maintenance projects and support quarterly Management Effectiveness Visits. - Provide Civil Engineering expertise and support for organizational response to Government requests. - Provide program support for lease management, tracking and reporting. - Provide expertise on Federal Appropriation Law, Congressional/DHS/USCG Financial Policy to support engineering and logistics program integrity and operational compliance. - Perform other duties, as assigned. Experience Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of Federal Real Property, including Financial Management experience, including experience with FSMS, or similar ERP. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Education Requirements: - BA or BS in Management, Engineering, or Business. Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements: (Remove if none are required. List the licenses, certificates and registrations that are required to perform the essential duties of this job). - CPA certification. - CDFM or CGFM certification. Other Required Skills & Abilities: - Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
