Job Description
Contract Product Designer
Pantheon Systems
Pantheon is seeking a temporary, Contract Product Designer (4–6 months, part-time) to support our Product Design team on a diverse set of projects. You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, and other designers, to research, design, test, and launch experiences for the Pantheon customer-base. In particular, you’ll be tasked with assisting our New Customer Experience team and our Reporting team, along with a few other potential projects. This is a remote position open to candidates based in Canada and the United States.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as an Associate Product Designer or other role involving user interface (UI) design, interaction design, or user research in SaaS/Product companies
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Experience with user research methods conducting user testing, interviews, and surveys
- Experience with data visualization, observability, and web-team operations a plus
- Curiosity about AI, whether that's designing AI-powered features or leveraging AI tools in your design workflow is a plus
- Strong grasp of interaction patterns
- Ability to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes using tools like Figma
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines in UX design
- Understanding of UX research methods and processes
- Ability to contribute and work within a design system to ensure quality and consistency
- Understanding of data visualization and insights
- Ability to partner with a product manager, engineers, and other stakeholders
Benefits
- Hourly rate: Canada-based candidates: $50 - $60 CAD/hour
- US-based candidates: $50 - $60 USD/hour
