Event Marketing Manager
Rain Technologies
As our Event Marketing Manager, you will be the operational heartbeat of our physical and virtual brand presence. We are evolving from a "point solution" for earned wage access into a comprehensive financial health platform, and you will be responsible for bringing this narrative to life through flawless execution. Manage end-to-end execution of bespoke events, from initial concept through post-event analysis and follow-up Develop creative event concepts that align with business objectives and deliver memorable attendee experiences Own all logistical elements including venue sourcing, vendor management, registration, catering, AV, and on-site coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for event stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations throughout the planning process Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and track expenses to ensure financial targets are met Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, sales, product, and design to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment Be the face of the company at events, managing on-site execution and troubleshooting issues in real-time Handle incoming event requests and manage a pipeline of multiple events simultaneously, prioritizing based on business impact Create detailed event timelines, run-of-show documents, and project plans to keep stakeholders aligned Build relationships with venue partners, vendors, and industry contacts to expand our events capabilities Gather and analyze attendee feedback and event metrics to measure success and inform future improvements Support larger-scale events by collaborating with the broader team
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in event planning and execution, with a focus on corporate or B2B events
- Strong creative abilities with experience developing unique event concepts and experiences
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proven ability to manage complex logistics
- Effective communicator with strong negotiation skills for vendor management
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects from start to finish
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly during live events
- Experience with event technology platforms and tools for registration, project management, and analytics
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in budget management and comfortable handling financial tracking and reporting
- Flexible and adaptable, able to pivot quickly when circumstances change
- Experience with partner events, product launches, or executive gatherings is a plus
- Willingness to travel

- $75,000- $90,000 + bonus and equity. Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.
