A highly respected California law firm with over 80 years of experience advising both public entities and private developers is seeking a Remote Real Estate Associate Attorney (5+ Years) to join its statewide Real Estate and Business Law team. You’ll collaborate with a deep bench of attorneys handling sophisticated real estate, corporate, and finance matters across industries including banking, real estate, health care, construction, technology, and development. About the Role You’ll represent a diverse client base — public entities, developers, corporations, nonprofits, and property owners — on a wide range of complex transactions, including: - Purchase, sale, and leasing of commercial properties - Development and disposition agreements - Real estate financing and public-private partnerships (P3s) - Ground leases, easements, and condemnation matters - CEQA, land use entitlements, and environmental compliance support You’ll take the lead on deals, work alongside partners known for mentorship and collaboration, and enjoy the support of a firm that truly values balance and flexibility. Qualifications - Proven Oil & Gas Landman experience (Texas & New Mexico required). - Strong, hands-on experience with HBP determinations. - Strong due diligence (HBP). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you follow up, explain well, and keep people in the loop). - Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and professional. - Comfortable working remotely and managing your workload efficiently. - No slackers - seriously, we do have to put that.
