Primary responsibilities will include supervising doctoral candidates conducting methodologically sound research, provide detailed feedback specific to qualitative research methods, and maintain communication with candidates to ensure compliance with school dissertation handbook and university policies. This posting is for remote doctoral chairs/committee member positions. MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS: • Applicant must have an EdD or PhD in Education. • Degree must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. • Please attach your required Cover Letter and include the title of the position for which you are applying. • Pastoral reference letter is required, signed by the Pastor from your current church, dated within 6 months, on the church letterhead. • Two professional reference letters required. • Full doctrinal compatibility with Liberty University. • Must demonstrate expertise in qualitative research. • Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills required. • Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills required. • Proficiency in MS Office and Canvas. • If you have a teaching license, please upload a copy. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates with an established record of research evidenced by intellectual and professional contributions to the field through peer-reviewed publication and conference presentations. Preference will be given to candidates with capstone, dissertation, or thesis mentorship experience and experience teaching research methods using online learning platforms (e.g., Canvas).
