• Reviews reports on daily production, passes relevant information up. • Double checks timekeeping records and submits them. Approval of PA/PC hours. • Follows and helps to update Lean documentation. • Creates training specifics for projects. Trains PCs. • Meets with project developers for updates on project specifics. • Addresses project issues on a project level. • Work with other PCs, PMs, and SPMs to ensure appropriate coverage of all duties within the appropriate process flow. • Respond to ambiguities/changes/updates from SPM(s) in a timely manner and ensure they are passed down to other team members. • Identify and communicate process improvements or areas of waste to enhance process flow and promote efficiency while collecting and passing these on from team members below. • Complete End of Day (EOD) reporting pertaining to process flow to ensure proper hand off to the next shift owners. • Meet or exceed all daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs pertaining to the specific process flow of the assigned project. • Additional duties as required.
Job Requirements
- College/University degree.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- General knowledge of online communication.

Role Description We are recruiting for an architectural aluminum and glass estimator to join our team. This role may be remote or based in Omaha, Nebraska depending on the candidate and experience. Your primary objective will be to support our customers’ needs by providing them with accurate and timely quotes that align with their project requirements and ensure successful project outcomes. - Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for aluminum storefront systems and interior glass walls/entrances based on architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents: - Aluminum Storefront Estimating - Analyze customer-provided specifications to determine proper storefront system type, framing dimensions, glass make-up, and hardware requirements. - Coordinate with aluminum system suppliers to obtain pricing and confirm system compatibility. - Identify fabrication requirements and installation considerations that impact labor and cost. - Glass & Glazing Estimating (Interior Systems) - Analyze customer-provided specifications to determine required hardware packages, glass types, edgework, finishes, and specialty components. - Coordinate with hardware system suppliers to obtain pricing and confirm system compatibility. - Identify fabrication requirements and installation considerations that impact labor and cost. - Develop estimates for customers that meet company standards for profitability, accuracy, and scope clarity. - Deliver excellent customer service by understanding product needs, delivering timely and accurate quotes, following up on customer orders and vendor purchase orders, addressing any issues, and ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and timely. - Develop and maintain organized project files, quote worksheets, vendor quotes, and customer orders. Qualifications - 1-3+ years of commercial estimating experience in the architectural glass and/or aluminum industry. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and takeoff/estimating software (Glazier Studio, WinBidPro, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.). - Firm grasp of architectural aluminum systems (Tubelite, Kawneer, Oldcastle, etc.) and interior glass hardware systems (Assa Abloy, CRL, Dormakaba, etc.). - Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. - Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills. - Positive attitude and team player, motivated to achieve top-tier results.
