Global Trade Compliance Specialist

• Support daily trade compliance inquiries from warehouse teams, brokers, and freight forwarders. • Ensure compliance of import and export activities with applicable domestic and international regulations across Radiometer operating companies. • Manage government-related requirements, including license applications and communication with authorities (e.g., CITES, USDA where applicable). • Execute key elements of the trade compliance program, including classification, valuation, and broker coordination and country of origin issues. • Support audits, self-testing activities, and implementation of process improvements and corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Trade Compliance, Import/Export, or Logistics, including customs processes, HS/HTS classification, valuation, and origin determination (COO).
- Practical experience with import/export documentation and customs declarations in cooperation with brokers and freight forwarders.
- Experience working with custom authorities and handling custom-related inquiries.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Transport, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience working with ERP custom-related software tools.
- Readiness for business travel up to 10%.
