Role Description We're looking for an exceptional software engineer with a passion for building great products. You'll get exposure to our full platform stack — web, native, and backend — building solutions our users and customers rely on every day. This role is focused on our Chat, Assistant, and Intelligence products. - Work on tools that help prospective students engage with universities and make informed decisions. - Help university staff and ambassadors have meaningful conversations backed by valuable data. - Work with a modern tech stack and AI systems to bring powerful features to our customers and users. - Experience with WCAG-accessible UI is a plus. Qualifications - Proficient in TypeScript; Python is a bonus. - Solid experience building well-architected, reusable React components — component lifecycle, performance, and state management. - Confidence building scalable backend services and managing AWS infrastructure. - Experience building applications powered by GraphQL APIs. - Experience in a microservice-driven environment. - Comfortable writing robust test suites. - AI adopter — comfortable with parallel pipelines and agentic tooling. - Experience building performant microservices with frameworks like Express or NestJS. - Familiarity with MongoDB or another NoSQL database, including common design patterns and trade-offs. - English level - at least Upper-intermediate and higher.
