Role Description GyanTV creates short video lessons (2–5 minutes) for UPSC and State PSC aspirants. We are building a network of freelance reviewers to watch these videos and tell us two things: Is the content factually correct? And will a real aspirant actually understand it? What You Will Do - Watch assigned videos (2–5 min each) and fill a structured review scorecard. - Fact-check key graphics and claims against standard sources (NCERTs, PIB, official reports, the Constitution, etc.). - Flag outdated information, schemes renamed, data revised, amendments passed. - Rate comprehension quality: - Is the explanation clear for a first-time learner? - Is pacing right? - Are terms explained before use? - Note specific timestamps when you find an issue and report. - Complete each scorecard within 24 hours of assignment. Qualifications - Currently preparing for UPSC CSE or any State PSC exam OR have done so in the last 3 years. - Preferred: Cleared UPSC/State PSC Prelims. - Strong on GS fundamentals: History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Environment. - Can tell the difference between a factual error and a framing choice. - Comfortable writing structured, specific feedback (not just 'this was confusing'). - Access to a smartphone or laptop and reliable internet. - Expert level proficiency in Hindi and English. Knowing one of the South Languages is a bonus. Requirements - Send us a short note (under 150 words) telling us: - Which exam you are preparing for / have prepared for. - Your strongest subjects. - One example of a factual error or confusing explanation you have encountered in study content. - Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a paid calibration test (5 sample videos, ~1.5 hours). Benefits - Weekly UPI/bank transfer payments. - Maintain a simple tracker (Google Sheet is fine at small scale) — video ID, reviewer ID, status, score, payout. HR Note - Hiring & Onboarding Process - Sourcing - Primary channels (in order of expected yield): - Telegram: Post in UPSC/PSC study groups. - LinkedIn: Target profiles with 'UPSC aspirant', 'Civil services preparation', 'GS Faculty' in headline. - Coaching institutes: Partner with smaller institutes in Delhi, Prayagraj, Patna. - Referral: Ask early reviewers to refer peers. - Screening (Before Paid Work) - Step 1 — Application filter (automated): - Must have written Prelims of UPSC or any State PSC. - Written note must demonstrate specific subject knowledge. - Reject if the example of 'factual error or confusing content' they provide is itself factually wrong. - Step 2 — Calibration test (paid, ₹150 flat): - Send 5 pre-scored videos. - Score agreement threshold: flag at least 80% of known factual issues. - Pass: onboard. Fail: do not proceed. No second attempts. - Onboarding (For Passed Applicants) - Send: Reviewer Guide and Source reference list. - Do a 20-minute onboarding call or a self-paced walkthrough video. - Assign first 3 videos with extra review from your in-house team. - Ongoing Quality Control - Inter-rater reliability checks every 2 weeks. - Gold standard seeding: Mix 1 pre-scored 'test' video into every 10 assignments. - Accuracy bonus gate: Reviewers who maintain >85% agreement on test videos qualify for the accuracy bonus tier. - Exit: If a reviewer misses 3 test-video thresholds in a month, remove from active pool. - Important Guardrails - Bias control: The rubric must separate 'factually incorrect' from 'I disagree with this interpretation'. - Conflicts of interest: Assign topics where bias risk is lower. - NDA / Confidentiality: Reviewers sign a basic NDA covering unreleased video content. - Scale Milestones - Month 1: 10–15 reviewers, ~100 videos reviewed. - Month 2–3: Expand to 30–40 reviewers. - Month 4+: Consider subject-specialised pools as volume scales.

**The Role** The Marketing Assistant is the operational engine behind Inflection Club's content marketing and community touchpoints. You will support day-to-day execution across our podcast, YouTube channel, email campaigns, and social media presence - ensuring that every piece of content goes out correctly, every campaign is tracked, and every audience interaction is handled with professionalism. This is not a creative director role. We need someone who executes with precision, spots gaps before they become problems, and keeps the content machine moving without needing to be chased. You will work closely with the broader operations team to support a community of high-calibre investors. **What You'll Own** 1. Podcast & YouTube Support - Coordinate podcast episode logistics - scheduling, show notes formatting, and upload preparation. - Support the YouTube content pipeline: description copy, thumbnail coordination, tagging, scheduling, and basic channel management. - Monitor comments across podcast and YouTube platforms; engage positively, delete or hide abusive content, and flag anything requiring escalation. - Track episode performance metrics and populate weekly reporting sheets. 2. Email Marketing Execution - Own the end-to-end production of external and internal newsletters- from writing the copy and designing the layout to scheduling and sending. - Write original content for our investor-facing newsletter: deal spotlights, market commentary, event previews, and community updates - in Inflection Club's voice and to a high editorial standard. - Manage the full email campaign calendar: newsletters, deal announcements, event invites, and re-engagement sequences - planned, written, designed, and sent on schedule. - Adapt tone and content for different audience segments - prospects, active members, and the internal team - without losing the Inflection Club brand voice. - Maintain email list hygiene: segment management, unsubscribes, bounces, and tagging. - Track open rates, click-throughs, and other key metrics; update tracking sheets and flag anomalies. 3. Social Media & Community Management - Post content to our Facebook Group (3x/week) and monitor comments and engagement. - Monitor LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter/X for unusual activity, spam, or abusive behaviour - and respond or escalate appropriately. - Monitor comments under paid social ads; message interested prospects, and delete or hide negative or spam content. - Hand off engaged group members to the appointment setter team where relevant. 4. Marketing Operations & Admin - Fill out daily and weekly campaign tracking sheets to monitor performance and surface trends. - Format content for internal and external communication - emails, presentations, and reports. - Assist with preparation for meetings, including taking minutes and distributing notes. - Share access to relevant Notion pages and Google Drive folders as directed. - Complete subscription purchases for marketing tools and services. - Research miscellaneous requests across various topics quickly and accurately.
