This role reports to the Senior Vice President and leads the Company’s global litigation and regulatory risk function, serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and the Board. It sets enterprise dispute strategy, oversees governance and financial exposure, and partners cross-functionally to support major transactions and business initiatives. The position also builds and develops a high-performing legal team while driving proactive risk management and disciplined execution across the organization. Lead complex litigation and dispute strategy across IP, antitrust, real estate, insurance, privacy, cyber, employment and other corporate liability matters; direct resolution strategy, trials and government inquiry responses (DOJ, AGs and other agencies) Oversee enterprise risk mitigation and compliance counseling, providing proactive guidance on contractual and operational legal matters; partner with the Public Policy team on regulatory matters and strategy; support claims avoidance, discontinued operations and internal audit initiatives Own litigation governance and financial management, including budget oversight, reserve review and accrual setting, legal disclosure letters, SEC filings and coordination with financial reporting and external auditors Engage with Board and executive leadership, delivering quarterly updates to the Audit Committee and Risk and Security Committee, advising the Board of Directors and senior executives on material litigation, and reviewing Board materials for legal exposure Support strategic transactions and corporate development, leading litigation and regulatory aspects of M&A (due diligence, disclosure schedules, integration, HSR/CIFIUS approvals), and managing litigation related diligence for financing and other transactions Together with the Senior Vice President, build and lead a high-performing legal team, overseeing outside counsel and vendors, structuring and developing talent, mentoring attorneys and implementing best practices and lessons learned across the enterprise Drive continuous improvement of litigation operations, including legal intake processes, workflows, metrics and reporting Demonstrated ability to manage a significant portfolio of litigation and provide pragmatic counsel to clients Fluency translating legal advice into practical, risk adjusted, business-oriented advice The ability to persevere in the face of challenges, and exhibit a steadfast resolve and relentless commitment to higher standards A leader who is self-reflective and aware of his/her own limitations; leads by example and drives the Company’s performance with an attitude of continuous improvement by being open to feedback and self-improvement The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively and managing performance; widely viewed as a strong developer of others Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize in dynamic environment A leader who is viewed by others as having a high degree of integrity and forethought in his/her approach to making decisions Strong business judgment with ability to make decisions and provide advice Ability to work collaboratively Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials Active member in good standing of the bar of a United States state or jurisdiction 10+ years of relevant legal experience, with both law firm and public company experience a plus Industry experience a plus, but not required #LI-Remote #LI-KM1 Requisition #: 341476 Background Screening If you are selected for a position, there will be a background screen, which may include checks for criminal records and/or motor vehicle reports and/or drug screening, depending on the position requirements. • Own Western region acquisition strategy and pipeline. • Source and evaluate prospective acquisition opportunities in accordance with the firm’s investment criteria in target markets and make recommendations to proceed with an investment. • Prepare underwriting on prospective acquisitions, which includes creating financial models and business plans. • Prepare and present Investment Committee materials, including discussion memorandums, investor presentations, due diligence memorandums, and offering memorandums. • Oversee acquisition process, including managing due diligence, performing site visits and market tours, ordering and reviewing third-party reports, and facilitating closing. • Partner with Asset Management to ensure seamless handoff, performance tracking, and business plan execution post-close. • Work with legal counsel to negotiate purchase and sale agreements, partnership agreements, and related documentation. • Coordinate with legal counsel to prepare offering materials. • Work with the capital markets team to source acquisition loans, participate in negotiation of term sheets and loan docs, and lead the closing process. • Manage and develop the West acquisitions team (standards, coaching, hiring, performance). • Prepare investor materials including, but not limited to, investment summaries, private placement memorandum, webinars, and investor education materials. • Assist CIO and the Sales team with pitching investment opportunities to our distribution partners and their investors, and interact with distribution partners, investors and advisors on an as-needed basis regarding market, property, and investment updates. • Assist in the disposition of the assets and close-out of the investment vehicles.
• The Vice President, Revenue is accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth and retention across the full customer lifecycle. • This role owns all customer-facing revenue functions, including Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Support, and CX, with direct responsibility for bookings, expansion, renewals, churn, and net revenue retention. • As a core member of the senior leadership team, this role sets and executes go-to-market strategy and revenue plans with material P&L accountability. • Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President, Revenue partners closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, Business Intelligence, Revenue Operations, and Engineering to ensure tight alignment between customer experience, operating discipline, and commercial outcomes. • Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify, test, and scale new revenue levers, channels, and coverage models, providing executive direction, prioritization, and judgement while enabling functional owner(s) to execute autonomously.
