Technical Sales Specialist
EJ
EJ has an immediate opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist to handle Corporate Accounts. The Specialist will reside in the Eastern US. Location: Home-based position located in any Eastern state in the US. Travel required. Although Delaware is listed as the reporting branch, there is not a need to work in-person at that location. SUMMARY Provides technical and sales support for underground construction specification work on all Company products and/or processes by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures. Visits customers, end users and specifiers of our product, educating them about our product offering, especially new or innovative items. Conducts customer and specifier (power utilities, engineers, consultants, and others) educational seminars and product overviews. Primary contact for area sales and customer technical related questions related to power utilities. Tracks market trends and reports them to management. Provides direct customer communication when needed for our product. Attend trade shows, meetings, exhibitions and conventions to make customer contacts and promote EJ products. Maintain complete knowledge of our castings, fabricated products and composites. Work with engineering personnel on design modifications and submittals for customer approval. Work with and support local EJ Branches in regards to power utilities and other related contacts/ customers to promote, specify and EJ supply products. Completes regular reports about specification work completed/in process, large projects identified, customer service concerns/issues/successes, and sales calls completed.
